"I ordered an item to be shipped by USPS. Four business days later the item had not yet been shipped, nor had I recieved any notice regarding my order at all, or any response to my emails questioning the status of my order (but my credit card WAS charged $86, of course). I then emailed cancelling the order, and the same day recieved an acknowlegement of my cancellation. That's great, but... WHERE'S MY REFUND? It is now a week since they charged my credit card, and so far no refund, and no response to repeated emails... too bad I discovered Reseller Ratings AFTER placing this order..."

"I have ordered from this company a few times and had no problems. But the last two orders I had problems with. They are very unorganized and it seems like most of the products they have on their website are not in stock.

I would be very careful when ordering something from these people. Call first to confirm that product is in stock. Keep all your recipts and compare them with your order.

"I ordered an MS product from East Outlet. Received the order confirmation immediately--it was probably automated. I received the item took after about ten days using the free USPS shipping option. I placed a call after one week to ask about the order. The phone was answered quickly, but the person who took my call placed me on indefinite hold. I then emailed an inquiry, but received the product before East Outlet replied. In fact, East never did reply-bah! The product was exactly as described--Who are we kidding here? People shop at East Outlet for dirt cheap software, not gold glove customer service. I'd probably shop there again if the price is right."

" Purchased a couple of WinXP Pro COA's and a couple of copies of Office XP small business. It took them 3 weeks to deliver the product.

When the COA's arrived, they said "Compaq" on the label. The Office XP said "Hewlett-Packard" on the label. I buy the software for systems that I re-sell, so this is totally unacceptable.

When I have purchased COA's from other vendors, they said "OEM" on the label, as they should.

Microsoft tells me that it is ILLEGAL to sell brand specific COA's. They also told me that it is illegal for Compaq to re-sell their COA's. When I called East Outlet, they insisted that these were perfectly legal licenses, but if I wanted a refund, no problem. Well it has been over a month now, and still no refund.

Avoid them and pay a couple of dollars more for legit software.

"Placing an order is easy, then you receive a confirmation email and them you fall into oblivion. It took 12 days to receivean in-state order. Only after calling 10 days later to find out what happened they said they will ship the same day. "

"Placing the order was the easiest part. Even 12 days after placing the order I have not yet received the goods. I have received an email confirmation of the order but not the stuff I have ordered.

The stuff is on backorder but they do not bother to send you an email or reply to your repeated emails.

After calling them they tell me that the item ordered is out of stock though the product is listed as available on their site. Their customer service sucks. They did not even apologize for not responding to emails. The lady who took the call does cannot even speak proper english.

Poor communication. Unless you place the order over phone after confirming that it is in stock, do not buy from them.

"Because of the great posts about this company I placed an order for a WinXP Pro Licence on 9/6/02. Great price, with shipping it was only $98+. I received a confirmation e-mail and have not heard from them since. Repeated e-mails asking about the status of the orderhave gone unanswered. I am about to call my CC company and have them cancel any charge from this company. 11 days and counting since the order was placed. No way it should take this long.....

I finally called about this order and the un-caring/non apologetic person on the other end simply stated in a bored/distracted voice that it just simply had not been shipped yet, And it would be shipped right out. That was last wed, 9/14. Still waiting. I can't recommend this company, ITS A JOKE!!

Another call and I was able to talk to a different person this time. Apparently the software was on back order and had been since I placed the order on 9/6! I canceled the order. Seems like a lot of non-communication is going on at this place. I guess I'll have to wait and see how long it takes for them to credit my CC! THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!
