"I can't find enough words to say how disappointed I am with "EASTBAY"..Called EASTBAY, requested a price quote and availabilty of uniforms for a start up team of 12 members in S. America with very limited funds..I was given the price quote and notified the team coordinator..A few hours later, we decided to place the order. When calling the call center of EASTBAY again to place the order, I asked for the same person who gave me the quote..No one knew who this person was, even by name and refused to honor the same price quote, made me feel like they were doing me a favor by just talking to me...The price for the same items increased and even the shipping cost doubled...This was a $1,000.00 order..Like another review I read, the same happened to me, no one would allow me to speak to management or give me a contact number, very rude and unprofessional people..I definitely will never purchase from this company or "FOOTLOCKER"..I learned that EASTBAY is under the same umbrella with FOOTLOCKER"
"Am a recurring customer to Eastbay. Their prices, shipping and order process are good. Of all the 7+ orders I've placed over the past 7 months, each has come satisfactorily.
My only problem is their website interface pertaining to real time inventory numbers. I see a nice shirt that I like and I want to add to cart immediately, the site then says it's out of stock and automatically removed from the cart! I hate that, it's very annoying.
Other than the stock problem, the company is good, have had no problem with."

I ordered some spikes, and when I got the confirmation email, I realized I ordered the wrong type.
Eastbay does not allow changing orders (or cancelling), even minutes after the order.
All of the online shops that I shop at allow this except Eastbay.
They charged $7 for shipping, when really it costs less than $1 to ship a flat envelope weighing a few ounces.
They allow you to return it AFTER YOU RECEIVE IT. Then they charge $6.50 as a fee.
So instead of waiting on it to arrive, I went ahead and ordered the right item, another $7 for shipping, and got 2 packages a week after I order.
It's not worth it to cancel, because thats $6.50 fee, $7 i lost on shipping, and $.50 of my shipping.
That's $14, and nothing to show.
So I went ahead and got ripped off.
Really, it's not exactly Eastbay's fault, but most companies agree to cancel mistake orders.

"I ordered a couple pairs of shoes one for my nephew and one for myself. I got an EMAIL for $10 off. I thought the customer service was good at the time I placed my order. I upgraded my shipping to 2nd day and as of 1/4/05 haven't received my order. They said it should be 2-3 days for my order not counting the order date, which means the 31, 3, and 4th of Jan. I called and they only credited half the shipping charge - I think they should have credited the entire shipping cost since (according to them) I would be receiving them on the 4th day. I plan on sending my shoes back and ordering from a different company and will not make any future order with them. I am really upset that they can't get it right. I was unable to speack to a supervisor and was on hold for 25 minutes. The order was returned and my nephew hasn't received it - it is really hard to speak to a supervisor. DO NOT ORDER FORM THIS SITE - EVER! "
"I placed an order addressed to my business address. I got a confirmation email with a different zip code. I immediately called East Bay customer service. I informed the person about the discrepancy. I was told that the correct zipcode has been entered and everything should be okay. Two day later I got another email saying the order was shipped however, it showed the wrong zipcode. I called the Cust Service again and the person took my Order Number (I had to repeat the order number 3 times) and was told someone will call me because their system is down. Later in the day, I got a voicemail asking for the order number and she can't help me because she does not have the order number. Its been 11 days and I'm still waiting for my order.
This place it really pathetic. Customer service reps that I spoken with were all un-knowledgeable and helpless. NEVER EVER MAKE A MISTAKE OF BUYInG FROM THIS PLACE. it's not worth buying from a place with such a lousy service. I will NEVER order from this miserable place again."
