"Just wanted to confirm that easybuy2000.com is still pulling the "in stock - charge credit card - not shipping for weeks" routine. I just cancelled my order after being told for the 3rd time that shipping delays would hold my order indefinitely. Of course they charged my credit card right away, though.

"Anything but an easybuy. Their website stated new matrix chips would be in stock on the 13th so I ordered on the 12th and added $19 for overnight delivery. Well, by the 15th the order still hadn't shipped so I contact them and asked what they delay was. They pointed to a new update on their site that said their shipment was delayed and that they'd receive their order on the 17th and be shipping back orders within 48 hours. So at the end of the 19th my order still hadn't shipped so once again I contact them to find out the reason for delay - they said "oh it'll definately ship early next week". I decided to cancel my order but they said their database went down and asked if I'd call back in a couple minutes which I did. Someone else answered the phone and said they couldn't do anything because their server was down and asked if I could call back in ten minutes which I did. When I called back there was no answer and I realized they had just pushed me out until it was after 5PM EST which is when they close. Well, I've since tried contacting them on the 23rd and today (24th) using their toll-free #, their direct, number, their "live-support" link, and even tried joining the forum as a way to cancel my order. However, I have not been able to reach anyone, by any method (I never even received the auto-response email from the forum registration which is required to get access to posting in the forum). I have now sent email to the "****@****" address and will see if I get a reponse. I cannot in any honesty state that this has been a good transaction or that I'll even attempt to do business with these people ever again - not even if they're the only ones with a particular product - I'd rather go without."
"The item I purchase claimed to be instock and would ship within 48 hours. a week and a half later I ask where my item is and they say it is now back ordered and will ship next week. Then I try to cancel my order and they give me crap. If a full refund isn't given to me by them I will file a complaint with the FTC and dispute the charges with my credit card company."
"Ordered from these guys a few months ago, but better late than never. And like many others it isn't pretty, my friend also ordered from them anyway after a warning and is still waiting for his order a month later.
I ordered a matrix chip from them as well as a ps2 chip. Took about 2 weeks for them to ship my order, and even after all that time when I received it, the package was missing the ps2 chip and CDs. It was even listed on the invoice in the envelope, which makes me really wonder how they could screw it up.
Basically after contacting them numerous times through email and msg board, and saying three times they would send the chip out, I finally got it another month later.

My story:
I ordered a product that was out of stock. Contrary to VISA regulations I was charged for this out of stock product on February 27th. I contacted the company several times trying to determine when stock would be available. After several failed attempts the product was supposedly shipped to me on March 5th.
The shipping method they used was a pseudo-tracked Canada post method. I paid to have the package sent next day and insured. When the package didn't arrive I contacted Canada Post. I learned that the shipping method only covers basic tracking and that Canada post could not tell me the delivery address. They told me to contact the shipper to have them file a trace.
I contacted Easybuy2000 via telephone and email and got the run around several times. I finally gave up all together and contact my VISA card company. They are sending over the paperwork and in a month I should get my money back.
EasyBuy2000 customer service told me the package was ensured but was unwilling to fax me the shipping document stating it was sent insured. They eventually stopped responding to my emails as well.
I had a similar delivery problem with Canada Post and Amazon.ca and I had my item delivered next day. I can’t see why EasyBuy2000 is unable to help me locate the product unless they didn’t bother to send anything other than an empty box via a non-traceable method and hoped to fool me.

After a week of not receiving it, I attempted to call, more than 20 times, over a weeks period, all before 1:30pm central time, which they claimed to be within their business hours per their message. After NUMEROUS emails, there was never a response, my credit card was swipped, and I have no product. Asked for tracking number and was not given one. Two days later no further communication from the company. No response from emails or the support forum. A full 3 weeks has passed. "I highly doubt that I will ever see the modchip I placed an order for. It seems that easybuy2000 is running another storefront called http://www.mod-chip.net/. The toll-free numbers are identical, as well as the site layout. Also, try calling during their normal business hours. All you get is a message saying "We're closed" and a message telling that they're open 9-5 EST M-F, when obviously not. Avoid this company."
