"Stop going to class and learn Chinese online! I have been studied Chinese for some time now, and I can say that eChineseLearning is the way to go. Before I used to think that taking classes online seemed a bit awkward and ineffective, and that I would not learn as much. But, actually I had a great experience once I gave it a try and took the free trial.
You are one-on-one with the teacher, that means the entire class is dedicated to just you and improving your Chinese. You get immediate feed-back from the teacher, and best of all, you can take the classes anywhere at anytime that suits you. That means you can take your class from the comfort of your home, or relaxing in your favorite cafe. For someone like me who does not like to go to class as much and deal with traffic etc. It is perfect!
I really like Helena whom I took the trial class with. She was very funny and encouraging and the class quickly passed. I did not feel the pressure of learning, yet picked up a ton of new things! I am an immediate Chinese learner and she was immediately able to judge my level and not re-teach me things I have already learned, as often happens when you start a new program. We discussed a joke in Chinese that taught me new vocabulary and grammar, and not just that but about Chinese culture too! It just seemed like such an effective way to learn, with no time wasted.
