"Bought a refurbished HDD for $29.99. It was DOA so I sent it back. They confirmed receipt and then asked for my Paypal address to issue my refund. I gave it to them and never heard back from them again. "
"Fast and great prices. I buy all my products and client product from them"
"Ordered 3 Asus 27" monitors from Ecom Direct Inc. using ebay. This company goes by the name "CompuDirect2001" in ebay. Not sure why their name is different, but it is misleading. Their ebay store link is below:

Monitors were faulty, all three, defective design and operation. Returned monitors under warranty.
It took 45 days after return of items for Ecom to refund me a portion of my payment. I had to follow up with them numerous times using telephone and email. I finally threatened to take them to Small Claims court, and they finally refunded a portion. However, they did not refund the entirety of my payment. Their actions caused my refund to have witheld $15.38 for PayPal fees, as they exercised the option to refund using the Paypal service. I requested refund of the entirety of my payment. They neither declined nor agreed, citing that they would be in the Red should they refund such amount. I advised them that the customer is not responsible for their subscription with PayPal, and that such fees are the sole responsibility of your company. I had never agreed to a Paypal refund, nor was there any agreement for paying fees upon return of the item. They could have simply mailed a check out if the fees were a concern, but they exercised using Paypal at my expense, without agreement. I have not received a response from them, and I highly recommend that folks stay away from this company, as you have to threaten them with court action just to get them to budge on a transaction. They are not reputable, and their practices as a merchant are regularly negligent."
