"I think this online store needs more praise because they are great to work with. I ordered 4 Nexen 5000 tires from them at about 3:15Pm in the afternoon. They had them out for UPS that same evening and I recieved them 3 days later. They are in Fla and I'm in Pa. I am more than satisfied with their prices and performance."
" I could not locate any reviews for Edge Racing, and being a customer service mgr with my company in the Chattanooga area, I thought it could be helpful to a future buyer(s) that may need assurance about Edge Racing as I did but could not locate in the reviews.
*The following is my experience*
I checked around Chattanooga area but could not find a V-rated tire for under 125.00 ea in the size I needed for my daughters Acura. The local tire dealers all stated that I would have to special order them, because they were not a standard size.
I decided to check out the options that may be out there.
I looked on the internet and found Edgeracing.com Since I did not have any experience with them, I looked for reviews but could not find any. The pricing was so much better than locally that I decided to purchase from Edge Racing, hoping for the best. To my suprise, Edge Racing delivered the tires I needed in 3 days to my door. I saved $250.00 to boot compared to the tires I would have to purchase locally ( different Brand ) as I only paid 66.00 each plus shipping which was under 10 bucks per tire . Being out of state, I did not have to pay the sales tax which made up for the shipping charge. I'm happy to leave a review that is positive, and the only slight negative thing that I could add is, well let me explain.
I had a problem with my order, which was that I ordered the wrong tire size. I notice my error right after I placed the order on the internet on a Saturday night.
I had to wait until the following Monday to call. I immediately began calling Edge Racing at 9:05am the following Monday morning but had trouble reaching a live voice. I was instructed by the automatic phone system of a waiting period but still no one answered after the time to wait was
reached.
There could be some waiting time involved if you need to call as I did but just convey some patience and you should reach someone eventually. The good news is, that they have an 1-800 number.
When I did reach a live voice, the gentleman was nice and changed my order to the correct size I needed without any problem or added cost. If I had ordered the correct size to begin with, then I would not have had this experience.
I am happy with the transaction and have purchase a couple of tires for my wife's Camry since.
I would recommend buying your tires from Edge Racing... Quick Deliveries, no Fuss and they are packaged nicely as well.. No problems, not to mention great pricing.
