"Unsatisfactory merchant practices via employing deceptive advertising on their site!
I placed an order on 12 Aug 09 for 20 VHS (160 mins) tapes for $4.20 + $7.31 shipping. Their web site advertised: "Bulk loaded tapes are shrink-wrapped in bundles of 10 without sleeves or labels" On 19 Aug, I received 2 TAPES ONLY. I assumed, based on what I clearly read on their site that I was ordering 20 tapes, not 2 tapes.
I called on 20 Aug & talked to Laurie who said they would send the 18 additional tapes for $37. I told her that their site was misleading and, I naturally assumed I was ordering 20 tapes and would not pay any more, but would accept the fulfillment of our contract by them sending the 18 tapes at no charge. She said: "Yes, I can see where that could be misleading and confusing, we need to change the wording on our site...let me talk to my manager".
She returned to the line and said there was nothing they could do. So, I talked to the manager (Alex) who said they would not send 18 tapes for free, but would pay to ship the 2 tapes back and issue a credit for only the tapes, BUT not the shipping. I said the site is misleading, I can purchase the tapes locally for less and requested a full refund, including shipping. Since I was misled, which caused me to pay too much for the tapes, I felt I should be made "whole" by receiving a complete refund. He refused and hung up on me."
"Good selection and prices but I have a major complaint with this company.
I placed an order for 3 items, got an order confirmation e-mail and waited for the package. When it came in a week later only 2 of the items were in the box. No note about why the order was short or anything. So I had to call them and ask. I was told the item was back ordered. I told them when I placed the order I got no notification that the item was not in stock. If I had known I would've gotten it somewhere else. They said it should be in by the end of the week and they will ship it out when it comes in. I said I want at least 2-day shipping because of their mistake and since I've waited long enough. They refused and sent it ground so it took almost another week for me to get it.
Even after explaining to them that I was a first time customer and 2-day shipping would at least salvage their reputation, they wouldn't kick in the extra couple dollars.
A disgraceful way to run a business. Even after given the opportunity to make it right, they made the wrong decision.
Be advised, anything you order could potentially be out of stock and you won't know until you get your shipment! I would never buy from this merchant again."

"Received both orders from FedEx the same day. About when I had expected them. The Products were in good shape and work as expected. I received a phone message indicating one item was on back order expected in 3 days. I received an e-mail indicating the other item was on a longer back order and suggesting an alternative product (which I selected). I would/will use these people again."

However, this rating survey sucks bigtime. It is not convenient to use because none of the key fields are plugged in for the customer. I suggest that after you develop this kind of service you have some of your employees test drive it and see how you might improve it before subjecting customers to this inconvenience."
