"The only problem I had ordering from these guys was they didn't send me any e-mails confirming my order being charged or shipped. I order on the 22nd, but I didn't get any sort of notification from the company on the shipment. I e-mailed them on the 29th with my order # and asked what the status was. A woman named Michelle who was very polite replied saying my order had been shipped the 23rd and gave me a UPS tracking #. I guess they expect you to take them doing things right for granted ;-)"
"I bought a CD burner and a stick of DDR memory from them. It was my choice to go with a cheaper $60 stick of generic memory, against Rex's recommendation, and I soon had to return it. That's where the problem began: It took me around 20 phone calls over the next 4 months (until today) for me to get my money back.
I know they sell huge server setups, etc, but their handling of my case tells you something about their customer service attitude.
I was told I'd be called back a dozen times, never was. Told I could expect the credit to appear in a few business days a DOZEN times, it appeared today finally.
I wasn't exactly jumping on their backs calling incessantly and they, accordingly, didn't take me seriously.
I only started to make progress after I got the name of someone in accounting, who after a good 7-8 phone calls and 2 months, got moving.
All in all, no one could ever tell me what the problem was, they didn't communicate internally at all (unless they were malicious and actually trying to screw me), and.. It was just seriously ridiculous.
I couldn't file a complaint with my American Express (which would've whipped them into action), because too much time had passed since the purchase. I beg you to keep this in mind next time you buy something: If you return something and are not getting credited, watch out for how long you are stalled! You might loose the protection of your cc company."
