"I purchased Yamaha RX-V671 AVR from this store and as they were selling at the lowest price when i bought. Everything was smooth and order was received in the way it should be. Only thing is Electronics-Expo.com website sucks. I wanted to see track my order during transit, and website kept throwing me out inspite of being logged in. Otherwise also i don't like their website but order and product both were fine.
No need for the review of product Yamaha RX-V671 as numerous ppl have already commented on it. It is one of the best AVR available at this price. HDMI Pass through, ARC, 7.1 channel, all latest codings, wonderful peace of work. I have used Pioneer 1021-K as well but like Yamaha more though missing Airplay."

"I ordered a TV mount for our cabin on a Tuesday morning. I paid extra money for 3 day shipping so I would get it by Friday. The mount did not come until Saturday. When I called and complained they said that they are allowed up to two days to ship the product. I was upset that I was not informed of that when I paid for the extra shipping. Not a happy customer. "I had never shopped, let alone heard of E-E until I was looking for my Yamaha RX-V671 receiver. E-E's price was fantastic, so I placed my order online.
The day after my order, after it had already been confirmed, I received a cancellation notice. I contacted customer service, fearful that I would not be able to get this order processed, let alone getting locked in at the original price at the time I placed the order (it had since gone up).
Thankfully, I got a quick response back, was put in touch with sales directly, and even though I played phone tag with my sales rep, he was able to process my order at the price that I had originally placed the order.
It was gratifying to know that I was speaking to someone who didn't just treat me as a number and made the sale as easy as if I placed the order online.
Now, if this order was time-sensitive, I would give this a lower rating but I cannot complain with the end result at all."

I placed an order yesterday. After 24hrs of not receiving any confirmation email from them, I contacted their customer service. The experience was bad. Both people I talked to were rude, short, and unhelpful. The gentleman was rude and condescending. He talked as if I was stupid for not be able to locate their order number. After I explained that I got no email from them, the only email was from Paypal. He raised his voice saying that the order number should be in that email (from paypal???). After I pulled up the email and explained to him the only thing that had anything to do with their company on the Paypal email is their merchant name, he just abruptly transferred me to CS. The lady just told me the order is not in the system after looking up using my name. She insisted that she couldn't find my name and not offering any other solutions until I asked if they can look up with my phone #. Then she found my order, offered no apologize and just being silent.
It's almost a joke I had to deal with this sort of customer service just by calling them to ask for a confirmation email. Did I beg for free service? No I didn't, I just buy stuff from them, and after paying hundreds of dollars you would expect at least being talked to like a normal person.
I will not order from them again."

"This is my first purchase from Electronics Expo. I had purchased a Polk PSW111 subwoofer. After months of research, they were the most competitive price for this new, not used or refurbished, sub. Shipping time was exactly what was advertised and the product is exactly as advertised. I contacted customer service,prior to opening an account(I now have one) for a tracking number and they were curtious,friendly and knowledgable. "**EDIT: Electronic Expo contacted me after seeing this review and offered an apology as well as a $20 dollar credit back. I can say that i am more than pleasantly surprised by their willingness to satisfy customers and i will definitely consider them in future purchases.
I ordered the Denon-AHD2000 headphones from them on 4/20/12 in the afternoon with 10 dollars for regular UPS ground shipping. Come Tuesday my order status is still processing so i give them a call and they said i had to verify my shipping address and that i would receive a tracking number by 5 pm. Today (Wednesday) i check my order status and it still says processing. I give them a call again and the lady on the phone again tells me i need to verify my address. I tell her that i had been told that and had done that the day before and she puts me on hold. She comes back and tells me that they had forgot to "authorize" the shipping address yesterday so my order will go out as soon as possible.
Even with free shipping, much less having to pay 10 dollars for it, i expect the product to be shipped out promptly. If a customer calls, make it a priority to fix your first mistake instead of "forgetting" to do so. Extremely dissatisfied with this business. "
