I ordered 2 each 65" Plasmas for a customer at the US Army, The order was placed 13 days ago and still no tracking number, when you call them you will be stuck on PERMAHOLD!! I'm on hold right now and all's I get is annoying jazz music and a recording that keeps repeating "please wait while I try to connect you" Time to file a dispute with my credit card and order elsewhere."
"I ordered a TV from this company which I had some reservations about but it all turned out to be that I had nothing to worry about at all.
They delivered the TV wihin 5 days witha professional freight comapny. Yes they did add 48.50 for freight insurance but after speaking to a rep and checking on their shipping policy and terms and agreement it is mentioned there. Plus with the freight insurance it does guranteee me immediate replacement and 48 Hours after delivery to report any freight problems. Definitely worth it !!!!!"
"Purchased Samsung HL61a750 on-line for 1317.00 but they added 181.75 more to my credit card bill. They told me they would rebate 100 on a mail in form, but it has never come. 81.75 was tacked on for insureance, they said. Not satisfied!"
"Purchased 46" Samsung LCD from Electronique Plus for $1427. Their website stated “free shipping”, but they charged an additional 6.8% insurance fee for a total of $1524. I don’t know if other on-line vendors charge for insurance or not; however, once you take into account local sales tax and the insurance fee, I could have purchased the same unit from the local Circuit City for only $50 more. Granted, the terms and conditions mentioned they may charge for insurance - shame on me for not reading the fine print. Also note the fine print regarding no returns on TVs and the limited circumstances in which they will refund even for damaged goods. They state I should receive my purchase in 10-15 days. Ten days have passed and I have not yet received the unit, but I’m waiting with much suspicion and anxiety.
I doubt I would again purchase a TV from Electronique, or for that matter any other on-line vendor. In retrospect I would spend a little extra money to physically pick-up the unit the same day at the local store and enjoy a more robust return policy. The small on-line savings is not worth the waiting and anxiety.
I'll update this posting if I have any problems with the unit once it arrives (hopefully all will be okay)."
"Ordered Samsung LCD on May 12. I was given the option to ship free or to pay a little extra for 3-4 days delivery. I decided to go with a 2nd option as I could not wait for my new TV to arrive. When I checked the status of my order on-line, it was shown as "pending" while it was actually on the way to me. Customer service did not respond to my e-mail requests but was kind and helpful when I called. Bottom line - price was good, prompt delivery in 3 days (my TV arrived on May 15 - in just 3 days after it was ordered).
Overall - great seller. Will buy from him again. Though it would help if e-mail requests are unswered in the same manner as phone calls."
"I purchased a 50" Samsung plasma from Electroniqueplus.com. Price was good and delivery was actually very good. They even carried it in and unpacked the TV. Was soured the experience was that I was told by the sales guy that the manufacturer warranty only covered ship out repair and to get in home repair I had to buy an extended 4 year warranty. Well, I was stupid enough to buy it and the warranty never came. After a ton of e-mails a warranty shows up that is only valid if registered 30 days after purchase and for 3 years instead of four. This arrived 2-3 months after the purchase so it's not valid in the first place. After more e-mails they have now stopped responding and now I am not sure what to do. I paid $250 for this warranty and got nothing for it. Because of this I would not recommend this store even if the perices are good. Pay some extra for customer service instead of lies! "
"Ordered a LCD TV on 8/5. Didn't get the order confirmed until 2 days later in which a sales rep attempted to tack on $70+ for shipping insurace which was not initially in the price when placing the order online. Product was not shipped until 8/10. When it arrived, it was damaged because the merchant did not correctly package it. Very unresponsive merchant to emails. Attempted to ship another product but I am just trying to get a refund right now. Still have not recieved it."
