"This company has terrible customer Service. Ordered some switches in April of 2023 it is now September 2023 and nothing. Web site said it was in-stock but 2 weeks later I got an email saying it will be coming in 1 month not 5-6 months later. Terrible communication, and could care less about their customers. "
"This is the second time my school has ordered from them. The first time, we got most of my order in a reasonable amount of time except for one set of items. My ordered a class set of dial calipers on July 1st and did not get them until October. This year my school ordered a large number of items again on July 1st. I am still waiting on quite a few items. Namely some storage boxes. I called them in mid August. They told me I would have them by the end of August. It is now mid September and I am still waiting for them. I called them again. They told me they would send out what they had in stock last Friday. It is Tuesday and they email to tell me that they sent them out yesterday (Monday). I will have to find another place to purchase my items in the future. They do not live up to their name. "
"I order some material I needed for my class. I needed it right away so I decided to pay extra for 2 day shipping. I order Sunday so order be shipped Monday and I should receive it Wednesday. I called Thursday regarding my order only to be transfer numerous time. Finally someone answer me and I inquired about my order. She says you should be receiving it any time soon. I asked her for tracking number but she didn't want to give it to me. Then she says you order was Shipped Monday so you should get it in 2 days. I told her 2 days already pass we are on Thursday. She replies exactly you getting it in 2 days. I am not sure if their policy of 2 days implies the customer should received their order on the 4th day. I did send electronix express an email and I was surprise to have gotten a response back fast. They did apologize and offer to return the shipping. I do give them credit for atleast sending the package later and for responding promptly."
"I always research a companies reviews before a purchase and saw a few reviews on here, with no weight to them really. I couldn't find a company with such good prices so I went ahead a placed an order.
I had no problems and receive my order within three days, no damage, on time and everything was perfect and working.
I placed a second order and needed the tracking number, as I had a deadline approaching and although they do not give a tracking number automatically, I simply called the customer service number and the lady was beyond sweet and gave me the tracking number. She did tell me they were in the process of getting a new website and that's why a tracking number is not automatically sent and in the future to call for it until it automatically sends.
I would order from them again, I really cannot complain about this company at all. Great prices and fast delivery!!
I prefer companies where I can speak to someone after placing an order and Electronix Express has that.

In the past I have bought from companies selling similar components for projects and they don't understand the application or the product they're selling. Electronix Express are hassle free and don't flood my inbox with spam. They had friendly customer service as well. Best of all though is they're pricing. "
"They violate their own policies and have revoltingly bad customer service. Also, no tracking information provided. Policy stated that the credit card would not be charged until the order was shipped. My card was charged two days before it was shipped. Also, took 4 business days from ordering until they began processing the order.
I had to write to them twice over two days just to get a response from their customer service. They completely ignored my direct questions for three responses. Won't be using them again."
"I placed on order with this company, and they sent me someone else's order, while they sent my order to the other person.
I called yesterday about this, and the woman there said she would email me a UPS shipping label to cross ship the package directly with the other customer.
Well, it's been 24 hrs, and I have not received any shipping labels. So I tried calling their main customer service numbers today, ***-***-**** and ***-***-****, and all I am getting are fax machine squeals! On their only customer service numbers!
My advice is Caveat Emptor. They may seem cheaper than others, but you are taking a huge risk by ordering from these amateurs. Even if they happen to be a small company, that is no excuse for such poor customer service.

"This is a HORRIBLE company. Buying from them is fine, as long as the item works when you receive it. If the item is defective or malfunctioning in some way, you have lost your money. I ordered a multimeter from them. They took my money immediately, of course, and then it took forever for the item to arrive. But, it did eventually get here. It did not work, so I went through their paperwork process, of getting some number, and then returning the item to them. This took a long while, but eventually they emailed me telling me the item was tampered with, and will ship it back to me with no refund! I was appalled! Of course I did not tamper with it. That would be foolish, voiding the warranty. No brainer. Yet they had the gall to accuse me of this. Of course, when I received the item, it went immediately in the trash can! So, I lost the price of the item, shipping, and return shipping!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE!! YOU WILL BE SORRY!! They will take your money!"
"I had a less than favorable experience recently. This was my first time ordering and I am unlikely to ever order again. I ran across the website while looking for supplies and the prices looked great. I placed my order, got a confirmation and 1.5 weeks later nothing was here and no shipment notification had been sent.
So I send an e-mail asking if I could get an update on the order...absolutely no response after 2 more days. I end up receiving the shipment the next day so I am happy and let it go. I open the box and one of the things I ordered was missing. So I give them a call, got sent to voicemail and left a message. I also sent them an e-mail for good measure.
Another day goes by with no response so I have to call and leave another message with the company. I finally get a call back saying it was out of stock and it will be shipped the next day. No apology whats-so-ever from the person I spoke to about not responding to me or telling me the part was out of stock.
The trend from the rest of the reviews I have read of this business seems to be that they fail to notify customers of out of stock items and customer service is horrible...which is the same exact problem I had. I wouldn't recommend shopping here."

I had previously checked here and found a couple negative reviews that didn't seem to carry much weight, so I placed a small order to test, and since it went well have made 2 more since. No problems!
I like their website; even though it is not real flashy (like the one at Tequipment), I find it very easy to navigate and find what I want. I have also purchased from Tequipment, but found their site irritating because they have more levels to wade through and many products end up being discontinued when you get down to them.
One thing to note is that Electronix Express does not automatically send an email with tracking info - you have to request that. When I did, I got the info. But then you have the same drawback at Tequipment, so where else are you going to shop? All my orders have been filled and shipped within 3 days. If you need next day shipping and shipping notifications, you WILL be disappointed, but I don't know of another vendor in this category with the selection and prices that does that.
They have their own brand (RSR) analog/digital trainer product (PAD-234), similar to what Elenco offers, and they make it available as a kit. I am happy to say that the instructions were easy to follow and I was able to assemble it and it worked the first time with no problems at all!"

Immediately after placing my order online, I received an automated response that my order was received. The order shipped two business days later in perfect condition and was very professionally packed. I would recommend Electronix Express to anyone with only one caution. Email or call ahead to make sure they have stock on your items before you order, since their website has no indication of this."
"I ordered twice from this supplier. Once during the summer 2007 when timing wasn't an issue, and once in October, when I wanted the item in a week. I am located half an hour from them, in central NJ, so that shouldn't be an issue.
The problem is that they don't give a &*^% about customers, I don't know how they survive in the business with this attitude of completely ignoring orders for weeks. I called after 8 days for them to tell me that they don't have it in stock when that should have happened after ordering, or better yet, should have been shown on the website.
During my summer 07 order, they took weeks to deliver and a lot of pleading and begging over the phone, but in that case I was lucky to order months ahead, so it didn't feel as bad. Still, these are not the guys that will help me reduce my carbon footprint - I will order from California if it comes within the week.
All in all, it is the wrong attitude to let people wait with money in hand, as if nobody else sells what they sell. AVOID!

"I had two significant problems with my order to Electronix Express. The most annoying one was that they just left out things that weren't in stock. There was no indication when I ordered that some of the items weren't available, and they were listed with no comment in the order confirmation email. But they weren't in the box and no explanation was given as to why.
I've ordered a lot of stuff online and this is the first place I've come across that doesn't give you a chance to change or cancel your order if things you want aren't in stock. To be fair, It was just little stuff, and some of it was on clearance. The thing is, though, those were the things I really wanted and was paying $8 to have shipped. Here's what their customer service had to say when I complained about this:
"The missing items on your order are cancelled out due to their non availability. The order is deemed to be shipped complete and closed."
The other problem I had was that, for a place called "Express," they're awfully slow. My order didn't ship until a week after I put it in. In fact, I don't think it was a coincidence that it shipped the day after I sent them an email wondering where my stuff was.
Seems like a pretty poor way to run a business--I recommend you steer clear of them.
