"Never received merchandise that was ordered. Full purchase price and shipping and handling which was a total of $14.98 were charged to my credit card. No responses to email inquiries sent in Feb. 2005. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau on Feb. 12, 2005. They have received no response from this vendor, nor have I.
I can also provide a copy of the charges on my monthly credit card statement. I also have a copy of the last email I received from this vendor in the last week of Dec. 2004, which stated my merchandise would be shipped by the end of Dec. 2004."
"This was the worst experience I've had with an online store. Please read below.
1. Ordered two nokia faceplates on 8/22/04
2. Elite-wireless immediately charge my credit card for the full amount.
3. On 9/1/04 I inquire with Elite-wireless about my shipping details as I do not see them on the website, or received them via email. Note that every online store I ever bought from only charges your credit card when the item ship. Elite-wirelesss replies that the items I ordered are on backorder and that I can choose alternative products to replace my initial order. They also inform me to pick multiple products via email because my selections might not be in stock also. There website does not say what is in stock!!
3. On 9/2/04. I reply that I want my money back, as I did not want their other faceplates, and I have no idea what is in stock, no the time to weed through all their items.
4. It is 9/12/04 and I have still not received an email from Elite-wireless. I send them another email stating my frustration. Tried calling, and the number seemed to be disconnected at the time. Tried online website help, but noone available.
5. On 9/29/04 a box arrived via USPS. The box was from Elite-wireless, and included a cracked nokia faceplate.
6. On 10/08/04 I tried calling the CS number again. This time someone picked up the phone. I voiced my frustration. The first thing he said was the post office probably broke the plate. Not true! The box was in perfect condition, and the item was packed well. I told him about my emails to cancel. He acted suprised and said someone probably screwed up, and to forward the emails again. I told him I wanted the full amount, including shipping returned to my credit card. He said that he would not return the shipping cost. I told him I was going to do a chargeback then. Elite CS said that they would get back to me later in the day. Noone did.
7. On 10/12/04 I receive an email that they cannot refund my money because they have not received the faceplate back, that they sent me.
8. On 10/13/04 I replied that I would be happy to ship it back, but they need to pay for shipping. There is no way I should pay for their mistakes.
9. Awaiting their response.
BEWARE! One example of how not to run a business. "
