"I am very uphappy with the service i recieved from Elsevier. I ordered access to an online course expecting that the access code would be available immediatley or atleast sent via email. That was not the case, I called Elsevier the next morning because I have yet to recieve any information about how to access what i purchased The first women I spoke with was pleasant and explained to me that I purchased through Elsevier which ships the information and access codes via mail. I wanted this information to study for a test that I have on 10/24/11 so she said I can simply cancel the order and purchase the order through evolve which will grant immediate access. She transfered me and the lady said I need an instructor to cancel the order. I explained that this information is for my own use as a study tool and it is not a reccomendation or anything from my class or professor. Finally she said she will cancel the order but can not find it at the moment. I asked that she call me and let me know when it has been canceled (so i can order it through evolve. It has been a few days and I received an email saying that my order has been shipped. The purchase costed me 100$ and I will not even recieve it via mail by the time of my test. Even if i could ship it back (which i do not think I can) it is a waste of my time and money. I was looking forward to using the tools, books, study guides ect. that evolve/ elsevier offers and was willing to pay money... I thought it was going to be a good study tool to get me through the next few years of school. I am not happy at all with the service and will no longer order anything from Elsevier or evolve again. "I needed to order an online component for a Leadership and Management course. I became concerned when 5 days after I ordered, there was still no shipping information, no ETA. I called customer service, it took nearly 5 minutes to get to an agent. When I did get through, she could not tell me anything. She had no shipping information, either. In fact, she had to ask ME the date of my order. Shouldn't she have that at her fingertips? I decided I should cancel the order and go buy it from the bookstore (previously out of stock, the reason why I had to buy from Elsevier in the first place). The agent was not able to cancel my order because "it must be too far into the shipping process." That's funny, a minute ago she couldn't tell me anything about the shipping status. She seemed apathetic. What a colossal waste of time. I'll be sure to pass my experience on to future nursing students as well as the teaching staff. Thanks for nothing, Elsevier. "
