"Emernac Packaging is the worst company we have ever worked with having the absolute worst customer service and customer satisfaction. After going back and forth for weeks on our design we finally ordered our Lip Balm boxes on April 23, 2024, costing a total of $230.00 for 200 boxes.
They arrived shortly after and much to our dissatisfaction. The boxes where not shipped flat but bound in bundles with a rubber band and curved making it difficult to assemble the flimsy cardboard used for the boxes.
We called and tried to discuss this with our representative. He was not in and someone said he would call back in ten minutes. No call back so the next day we tried again, even sent them a video of the problems with the design of the box, which included a flap on either side making it difficult for the customer to get the lip balm tube out of the box. Also the bottom of the box didn’t lay flat which created a problem for the tubes to not fit properly in the box. The flap that closed into the box would tear when filled with the tubes and you tried to open the box. All they would tell us is that we didn’t know how to assemble the box which was made of flimsy cardboard.
After repeated calls and them telling us someone would call in 10 minutes every time, which they never did, we finally got to talk to someone and he tried to tell us that we didn’t know how to properly assemble the box, which even a three-year-old would be able to do. To add insult to injury, he tried to show us in his own video that the box would work while he placed stones in the bottom of the box trying to tell us that the weight would keep the bottom of the box down, which it didn’t.
Never did anyone say they would make the order right, instead telling us we didn’t know how to assemble the box.
Not sure if this company has outsourced their orders but noticing the reviews, all of which are old and outdated, the staff we dealt with were not helpful at all. They offered to do the order over for us but wanted an additional 50% of what we originally paid to re-do the boxes. I don’t think so!!
During another phone call to yet another person in the office, (you never get to talk to the same person twice0 they agreed to give us our money back. So we waited and waited for two weeks and no refund. So we called and they again said someone would call back in 10 minutes. (This is getting old, don’t you think?) No call back. Finally we reached someone and they informed us that they never said that and would not return our money back.
So this is what is on their website: Emenac Packaging USA – What We Commit, We Deliver. Hmmmmm! I find that commitment difficult to believe.
We are not happy buyers and want to make sure you don’t get snagged by their irresponsibility and lack of customer service and commitment.
