"On 12/13/12 I paid extra for 1 day processing and 3 day shipping before Christmas (versus 10 day processing + 7-14 days shipping), the item was in stock when i purchased. It went out of stock on the 14th, i spoke with a rep on the 15th and was told that new stock had already arrived. I spoke with two different reps on the 16th, the first informed me that the stock had arrived and said i would receive shipping information in a few hours. The second told me that no shipment had arrived on the 14th or the 15th, and would not arrive until 1/7/13.

The customer service agent gave me the option to wait, or cancel my order, in fact cancellation was offered first. They would rather just get rid of the sale than make any attempt to fix the situation or apologize.

I'm disgusted with the lack of consistency, I've cancelled my order as amazon has the same product, from the same supplier for only a few dollars more with guaranteed delivery.

"I found a lot of unique gift items. They were all delivered in time for Christmas, despite backorders. I received a personal phone call letting me know about the fact that my order had been split so that I wouldn't have to wait for all of it. When the items on backorder were restocked, they were promptly shipped in perfect condition!
The recipients of the gifts were very pleased with the quality too!

"just disappointed that the the scone mix was out of date and so was the clotted cream. the jams were very good. I am amending this review. I now give it 5 stars. They responded very quickly and refunded the part I was unhappy about. Best company online.
