"We bought a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XTi Digital Camera from an online retailer called EnterprisePhoto.com. We chose this company because they were selling the camera for about a hundred dollars less than the competition. The website said that it had free shipping and the camera was listed to include a battery. Everything looked good and so we ordered it.
The next day we got a phone call from EnterprisePhoto.com. They wanted to know if we wanted a battery that lasts for 2 hours or a battery that lasts for 4 hours. These batteries that they were offering us cost EXTRA on top of the price of the camera. At first they told us that the camera didn’t come with a battery and that we would need to purchase one of these extra batteries in order to use the camera. I then mentioned that the website said that it was supposed to come with a battery. Then the guy on the phone started saying that yes the camera comes with a battery but it’s only to store the settings and you cannot take any photos with it. I told the guy that I didn’t want any extra batteries, and I only wanted what we originally paid for. The guy on the phone then said that if I didn’t order the extra battery my shipment was going to take 6 to 8 weeks to arrive when it was originally supposed to be here in a few days. At this point, I just told him to cancel the order and forget about it. That’s when the guy on the phone said that we would be charged a 75 dollar cancellation fee (even though they haven’t shipped OR charged me for the product yet). This fee wasn’t listed anywhere on the website. The guy on the phone also started to get a really nasty tone with me and so I hung up on him and called the company back to speak to a manager. They finally got a manager on the phone and I told him what happened. He said that because of the trouble he would charge me the 4 hour battery for the price of the 2 hr battery. I figured I had no way out of the situation without losing money so I agreed to the offer.
When I got the package a week or so later, it didn’t include two batteries. Instead, it had one battery and I looked at the model number of the battery and it was the exact same battery that ships with the standard camera box that you would get if you bought the camera directly from Canon. It basically wasn’t a special battery at all. Upon calling Canon, I found out that they don’t even make any 2 or 4 hour batteries and they never heard of any other companies making them either. These Canon camera batteries aren’t sold or advertised as having a certain amount of time that they will stay charged.
I called EnterprisePhoto.com and spoke to another customer service rep and told him my situation. He apologized and said that he would send me that 4 hour battery as soon as possible. I then asked him for the model number of the battery that he was going to send me and it turns out that it was the same exact model number (NB-2LH) of the standard Canon camera battery that I already received in the box! I then told him this and asked him to just refund me the extra amount of money that they charged me for the battery. At this point, he told me to hold on, and put me on hold for over 40 minutes before I hung up. The battery that they were going to send me costs only about 50 dollars online and they basically charged me 135.99 for this battery that should have already came with the camera anyway.
I then promptly went to the bank and tried to get the money disputed through them. I also found out, by looking at reviews online, that this company uses these types of "bait and switch" tactics very often and they have lots of negative reviews. I wish I had read these before I ordered, but I learned my lesson that I should read the negative reviews before ordering from a new website."
"I hate these guys SO MUCH!
I was so happy at first to find a great deal on a Nikon D40. They called and 'confirmed' my address, and told me the battery it came with only lasted 15 minutes. They said they'd sell me a 5 hour one for $70 more with a charger. Well, it's still a good deal for the better battery so I said ok. They also said that they had a "Labor Day Special" and would upgrade my camera to a newer edition (with better lens mount) which was complete bullsh*%#. Still I said OK. I was hoping for the best, and it was still a decent deal.
Since then I've spent probably 2 hours on the phone (1.9hours on hold or getting hung up on). I think I called 21 times one day before I got through.
3 days after order: "Yeah, it ships tomorrow"
4 days: "Yeah it's shipped"
1 week: "It's in the mail"
2 weeks: "It's out of stock and we refunded your account"
WTF? How did it go out of stock AFTER it was 'in the mail'? On the bright side they did give me my money back, but I spent 2 weeks waiting for NOTHING!!
Never again will I order without THOROUGHLY researching the company. This one is obviously a SCAM! Serves me right for not doing my homework.
They're scam artists and frauds if you want to put it nicely, and @ssh0les if you want the truth.
NEVER EVER order from them!!"
"WARNING!!!! Do not buy. This is a bait and switch company. Terrible customer service. Spent loads of time on the phone with them to get hung up on multiple times, and to argue about not buying the upgraded firmware that would cost me an extra $150. They canceled my order because I didn't buy the upgrade. Don't waste your time with them."
"This photo retailer is a scam. After I placed and order for a Sigma photolens, a representative called me and was trying to sell me on a bogus adpater for 150 dollars. The plastic version made in China lasted 3 months! and the metal version made in Japan would last 10 years.
I cancelled my order because it was clear they were trying to inflate my order with useless items and 1 minute later a guy, pretending to be the manager called on the phone again to apologize because he overheard the sales person. But he said he was manager for BestPrice photo, a different retailer. It is obvious it is all the same operation, disguised with different names.
I also noticed that their kits are overpriced. The main object looks inexpensive but the lenses, digital memory, etc is 2-3 times the price of a reputable store.

"Everything was great. Fast shipping. Good prices. Great customer service. Very satisfied with my purchase. Will shop again with Enterprise Photo."
"Worst dealer to deals with.
Promisted to process order in 2 days but took 5 days to do it after my repeated calls.
Worst customer service. arrogant staff.
While cancelling the order i was told that there will not be any deductions if I don't accept the delivery from delivery man. But they deducted $35.
Will not recommend this dealer to anyone.
Called customer service for two weeks on daily basis... but was kept on hold most of the time. Whenever I Got chance to talk to customer service person & he promised to call me back for re-funds, but I haven't received any call from them. They don't respond even if you leave your voicemails.

"I ordered a camera on Nov 6 and received 2 emails on Nov 6 and 8 asking me to call to confirm the order. I replied to their email and canceled the order on Nov 10. On Nov 15 they billed my credit card and shipped the order despite my not confirming the order as they had requested, and my cancellation email. In the meantime, I had bought the camera from another company. I will not do business with Enterprise Photo again."
"Called to cancel an order before it had been processed, they charged my credit card anyway and shipped it. After an hour on hold with their nightmarish customer service line, they called me a liar and told me to ship the item back at my own expense. I waited a month for a refund before filing a dispute with my credit card company. It's not an outright scam -- they do sell you goods at the price advertised -- but the customer service is horrible if existent."
"I ordered my new CANON 40D over the phone. Guy who took my order-Thomas, convinced me to buy also 3 year insurance and High Speed Memory card for the camera. When I got my order the memory card wasn't the right one. They gave me $45 dollars cheaper one and after I called customer service they said that it is not possible and that this card is High Speed. It wasn't possible for me to get the card that I ordered. I lost $45 dollars. I wouldn't recommend this store to anyone."
"Lens was shipped promptly with no hassles whatsoever. "
"EnterprisePhoto never reply your emails. They ignored my two cancellation mails, and shipped an item after 10 days of my cancellation mails. They even did not provide a shipment information. EnterprisePhoto is the only store which just sends an item without providing a shipment information such as a trucking number. I know why they did this. It was on purpose. They told me they did not refund for a return shipping fee even the issue was caused by EnterprisePhoto error. I would not recommend you to purchase at EnterprisePhoto. "
"Be aware, all positive reviews on that site are total fake. If you want to get something cheap from them, forget it. They will force you to buy ten fold overpriced accessories. If refused, they will simple declare that item out of stock.
Just one regular scam shop."
"After over a week with nothing, I emailed them and 4 days later, they responded with an email saying they need MORE information/phone call. 4 days later they sent me an email saying the camera was out of stock (in stock the day I ordered) Hey Mark(at Enterprize) your service sucks"
"Watch for plenty of fake ass reviews from this company right here on resellerratings.com"
"These positive comments are FAKE!! It's been a week after I ordered and I got no tracking except an auto-respond Order Number. email no use, so I called and it took at least 15mins until i talked to a real person, 1st call: she asked for my order#, i told her then she hanged up on me. 2nd call: talked to a guy, he transfered me back to that woman, I asked her why i got hangup? she didn't answer me and transfer me back to that guy. this time i'm not tracking my order, i had enough. so i asked him to cancel my order and not to transfer me no more as i had enough. he asked my # and verifly my name, then done. it was quick, sounds like they didn't have the product and didn't give a dxxx about it. Glad I'm out of this. I just can't believe they spent so much time making these fake rating on ResellerRatings.com... Guys, listen to me, dont buy from them!!"
