"My credit card was charged immediately after ordering a $1749 lift. The item never shipped as promised. I never received a call or a note from Equip Tool explaining why. I called regularly to check on my order status, and was repeatedly told the item was back ordered. After four months, I finally requested cancellation of my order and a refund. No refund ever arrived. Equip Tool stopped answering my calls. I filed a complaint with the California AG’s office. When I was finally able to speak with Gerry again by phone, he said he would withhold my refund until I formally withdrew my complaint. Then he hung up on me. Be warned, Equip Tool is not an honest business."
"On 2-15-18 I ordered a Robinair A/C recharge machine which was promised & noted on invoice that delivery would be 7 to 14 business days. It is now 68 days and no machine! Whenever I call they say 2 more days. Nonsense!! Unfortunately, I did not read all of the customer complaints until after my order did not show up. I spoke with Jerry on 4-11-18 and told him that I would give him 10 days to refund my AMEX card or I am filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office. Jerry said he will take care of it, but after contacting AMEX they said it was never done. I consulted my attorney as well and he said based on the magnitude of all the scams and fraudulent activity by this company this case can be escalated to the FBI as well. Any positive reviews are obviously written by the same person (probably Jerry) because they are written by an illiterate and writing style is identical. These people aren't even smart scammers! Don't let the good prices fool you... you will be sorry like me and everyone else!"
"I can't believe the amount of lies that were coming through these peoples mouths. I ordered something on February 27th and was promised deliver within 7-14 business days. I received no tracking number, nothing. I gave them a call after the 2 week mark and was promised delivery April 1st. I said well, how can you promise me delivery without a tracking number? He said he would get it and call me right back. The next day, I called back.. wondering where my $544 motorcycle lift was. He said it arrived to HIS facility damaged... weird.. so he issued a FAKE REFUND. I gave them 3 days for it to show up in my account.. called my bank and nothing was being processed as he only sent me a quickbooks refund email.. which working in an office.. is easy to do.. but I was giving them the benefit of the doubt. I called them Friday April 6th. They told me to they're not going to do anything and to dispute it with my bank. uh no.. You have my money- give me my money back. He then said that he was going to go to the bank because he couldn't wire the money back into my account (SO MANY LIES!!) Then said his bank wouldn't transfer the money (haha) and that he got a cashiers check and was going to be Fedex'd , over night.. shady? I called him out on his, which he made MANY empty promises and acting like I was stupid as to believe what was coming out of his mouth. Here we are- Saturday April 7th. no motorcycle lift .. and completely out $544... THESE PEOPLE ARE FAUD!!!!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!! (he , Jerry, also said that he has no problem giving me my $544 back as he makes that every 26 seconds.. hahahah then where is my money?????)"
"Terrible company to deal with. I purchased over $6,000 of equipment and took nearly 3 months to receive it. Kept giving me the run around of it will be there in 7 days, 7 days turned into 3 months!! I was able to force them to deliver the product by having the bank force their hands to deliver or suffer getting the funds pulled. After all that the owner said he would send me a oil drain cart for all the troubles, it’s been 4 months and no oil drain cart! Never ever do Business with this company, if you do please use American Express that will be the only way to get a refund. Also it’s strongly recommended to do a delivery contract so you can hold their feet to the fire!"

"Ordered my tool. supposed to arrive within 15 days. A bit long but for the savings I can live with it. a month later I still don't have a tool. Called and was told I would get a call back. Heard nothing. Called a few days later and was told it would ship soon and that I might have it by the end of the month. They explained that it was backordered. would be nice to have known I could have gone elsewhere and spent 600+ dollars and I would have my shop using the equipment. I am going to need to buy a new ac machine for my shop. not sure I will be using these guys. I will update review once it arrives. "

"I do not believe that I have ever dealt with more incompetent individuals or a company as EquipTool. Worst possible experience of all time!!! They were quick to take our money, but when asked for a tracking number it was denied numerous times. Jerry, Vania, & Marcos were all included in the scam, giving nothing but lip service and absolutely no respect and the poorest customer service ever received. What I discovered during my dispute with them is they purchase their items from Medco Corp, who does have "warehouses" everywhere, but they do no have the item in their possession. So they wait until they have enough orders to place a bulk order and get a low price on the items. This is where the waiting game begins for us customers who have purchased the item and are waiting for the item to arrive. It could take them months before they get enough orders to buy in bulk. It is such a scam and I am honestly shocked they are still in business!
Per my last conversation with Jerry I told him to cancel the order since I knew the item was not shipped yet since he could not provide me with a tracking number. He repeatedly said the shipping company does not provide one for him to give to me. So I took it upon myself to call Medco Corp and ask them if they provide tracking for their items shipped and they told me they always provide shipping information including tracking numbers. Another thing Medco Corp told me is they have never done business with EqupTool EVER...they had no record of such company. Not only was this Fresno, CA location, but also the Chicago,IL location.
All these positive reviews must be fakes!!!! They have the same scenario and grammar, must have put some of their family members or friends to make up profiles!!! STAY CLEAR OF THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY!!!!! "

I know how the “owner” likes to respond to these reviews and state how cheap the product was, well SAVE THAT BS! I ordered a BENDPAK lift for my husband for Christmas 12/13/2017 and that’s where the fun began....I called IMMEDIATELY, after purchasing online and it took two days for a call back, I needed the lift by Christmas and I was willing to pay for a hot shot or express shipping, needless to say after NUMEROUS straight up LIES from Jerry, my husband had to go into Houston himself and pick up his own lift. I have ALL conversations recorded with all Jerry’s promises. It’s such a joke. This is the WORST company I have ever had to deal with. They just want to make a sale and could care less after that. After this review I’m going to the BBB and BENDPAK themselves. I almost can’t wait to see the response I get...I have recordings and proof. Your low prices are what got me, but I guarantee you I would have MUCH rather paid full price from a reputable company than to have ordered from equiptool.com. Well, when you lie to customers and put them off you get negative reviews. The positive reviews HAVE to be from people they know, especially after how scared he got when I threatened him to write these reviews. Again, that’s on recording as well.
