"Found eSigns through Google search for 'magnetic car signs'. Was hoping to find a local business, but saw eSigns had easy-to-use design tools that appealed to me for the project I had in mind (redoing a 30-year-old sign from a photograph, with added message). They had the tools to import the image (a recent photograph of the original sign), and fonts to convey the new message to be added beneath the image, while complimenting the hand-drawn text and artwork of the original 30-year-old sign. Still, I hoped to find a local business that could do something similar. Checked Minuteman Press (closed over the weekend, and my timeline was too short to wait until Monday), FedExKinkos and Staples (I forget which was which, but one didn't make signs, and the other made them but sent out for processing, which would take two weeks!). Needless to say, back to eSigns for fast turnaround (my order would ship Monday), and really great prices as well. They offer free standard shipping, but I opted for expedited, as I needed in time for a birthday mid-week. Got the sign in time and was quite pleased with the results, as was the gift recipient! There was even a little gift in the box for me (marketing, to be sure, but appreciated nonetheless): a sticky note pad and little box of red hots with the eSigns logo. The only possible downsides: 1) I'd like to have an easy way to create reverse text (white text on black background), to meld seamlessly with black border around uploaded image, and 2) I'd like to see a few more image processing tools for more advanced users, though I can see how this might easily overload others. In the end, this (#2) wasn't much of an issue, because I think the eSigns team even cleaned up/enhanced the hand-drawn text in my image of the original sign, which I'd had some trouble doing with the limited software I had available to pre-process the photograph before uploading it to their site. Thanks, eSigns, for over-delivering on a gift that will be well-remembered!"

"The design process was simple, and there were a LOT of graphics to choose from. I usually design my own business items offline, but esigns had so many options that I decided to use their online tools instead. I created a funky layout for personal calling cards that suits my personality. (Note: My order for 100 business cards only cost $1 including s/h because I ordered using a Groupon.)

ETA: I spoke with a very nice rep from eSigns, and I assured her that I was satisfied with my business cards. However, I can't comment about the price because I got my products through a ridiculously cheap Groupon. Also, the printing was a little fuzzy, but the rep said she'd have the printing folks take a look. All in all, it was a nice experience, and I would use eSigns again."
