"For those who were considering Esurranty, I leave you this.
I purchased a year policy with this company approximately a year ago and used it once to pay for a cracked screen which cost over $100 and required me to send my phone over to them (Took almost a MONTH to get my phone back). They couldn't even provide me an android loaner during that period, per their administrator stating "we are all out of loaner androids". So finally get my phone back, but of course with other issues. The ear headphone is screwed up, making it difficult for me to hear people on the phone and within a month, a dead pixel appeared on the phone. Recently, I set up a claim to get my phone fixed due to it running extremely slow and the battery not holding a charge over a few hours. I speak with their Administrator, Angelo Maimone, who states he's going to take care of my claim. Ever since that email, which was a month ago, they have dodged every call, and every email I've sent to them. Literally not responding to anything (and I left half a dozen voicemails and emails). Do not trust these people. They clearly waited for my warranty to end and stopped responding to me.
Edit: I submitted a BBB complaint, and shortly after submitting it, I finally got a response from Esurranty! Of course they stated that my policy ended and I was no longer eligible for protection; in addition to stating my device was no longer covered after 1 accidental claim (The policy details state they allow 2 accidental claims per year and an infinite amount of mechanical claims per policy year) despite me submitting that claim a month prior to the policy end date on 8/15/17.

The battery dies after 4 hours, overheated to approx 85-90C on a few occasion, Ear headphone is VERY low, and the overall performance is awful. It takes sometimes 5-8seconds to pull up the texting app, and to unlock the screen. I spoke with the owner awhile back regarding repairing the defective ear headphone piece, and he recommended that I could get it fixed at the local repair shop. Thanks

"I sent my phone to them for a screen replacement back in June. It took them a week to send me a loaner phone when they said it would be overnighted. It has now been over 3 months since my Galaxy S8 was delivered to them and after sending multiple e-mails to my claims representative, messages through my account on their website, creating multiple tickets, multiple calls and even messages through their Facebook page I have not received 1 response from them.. They are ignoring me. At this point I've been trying to contact them to give me my phone back, I don't care if the screen hasn't been replaced yet I just want it back and a refund for what I gave them to fix my phone. It should not take over 3 months when other places do it the same day. Not to mention, they sent me a faulty loaner phone that keeps randomly restarting itself, it erased all of my contacts, it doesn't let me view group messages and send or receive pictures. I wish I would have seen all the negative reviews before trusting them with my phone. I feel cheated and if they don't return my phone soon I will be filing a complaint with the bbb & federal trade commission and if need be pursue legal action."
"My policy is for an Apple iPhone 6. I have had this phone for over a year and never had an issue. Being a personal chef, I need my phone at all times. I purchased coverage with esurranty.com because the price was right and they let apple customer get their phones repaired at the apple store. They even made the appointment for me! So, I dropped my phone and it shattered. I filed a claim and within a few minutes a person named Kim emailed me with the paperwork I needed to complete to pay my deductible and get my phone repaired. I told them that I needed my phone because I am on call. She then told me that I could get a loaner phone sent to me overnight and they pay for all shipping and then my device would be sent to them where they take it to the apple store for repair. Or, I could have it repaired at the apple store by me and they will reimburse me the cost by overnight check. I chose that option and they made the appointment for me which was the same day. I only waited for about 15 minutes for an apple store employee to see me and he then had my phone repaired within 30 minutes. It works like new and even though I had to pay over $130 for the repair, I had a reimbursement check mailed to me the next day. The check cleared and I am a very happy camper. I am so happy that I just bought coverage for my iPad from esurranty. I used to have insurance with verizon and it was a nightmare. I paid $13/month and then they charge $220 to replace your device with a refurbished one... The only claim I had with them took 3 days just to get them to reply. This is why I chose esurranty.com and will stay with them from now on. I think they are great and everyone I have spoken to there is very professional and treats the customer with respect. They also have a very knowledgeable sales staff that explains everything to you. The man I spoke to last year was so informative and explained to me why I should only buy 2 years at a time instead of the 4 I was going to purchase. Now that;s customer service when they tell you how to save money and don't try to upsell you just to make a buck. If you have read this whole review, know that I took my time to explain in the best detail I can how great esurranty has been for me and why I think it will be great for you."
"This is a terrible company. the last two months they have had my phone. I have tried every other day emailing them or calling them and they never respond back. Please check out their Better Business Bureau page to find out more information. I just want my phone back. I have put in a dispute with my credit card company. You should ask yourself a question why are the only positive reviews are about purchasing the claim but not actually a claim being completed. I filed a claim on Monday of this week because I lost my phone while jogging, submitted everything to Sean and 2 days later a new iPhone 7 was at my door. Yes, after purchasing what they refer to as "cell phone insurance" I got all the information on my "insurance" lol it is great until you actually file a claim and then the entire "company" is missing in action... save your time and money! I spend over $300 covering my iPhone in 2014, 2015 and 2016. I had my first claim in 2016 and that is when everything went to crap quickly, I still have a loaner phone, which I paid over $140 in August 2016. I never received a new phone from them. It is a joke of a "company." The only "representative" I ever spoke to was Angelo. If you are even thinking about signing up for this "cell phone insurance" CALL THEM FIRST! "This is by far the best third party insurance cell phone insurance I have ever had and I've had a few of them...I won't name any names, but the loopholes I have had to jump through with some of these other insurers is ridiculous. One of them wants YOU to obtain a quote from repair facility and THEN they decide how much they'll cover. When I called the insurer to ask why it was taking them so long to get back to me on a quote, I was told, "you have to give your appraiser two to three days to get back to you."
