"Thieves.

I placed an order on April 14th for an item that they apparently had in stock, two weeks with no contact from them i sent an email asking for an update. They didn't respond.
A week after that i sent an email asking for a refund. They didn't respond nor did they give a refund.
At this point i figured that they had gone out of business or something, so on June 2nd (49 days without contact from them) i did a chargeback.
On June 8th i received an email from them which i reprint here:
"
Hi,

We made a mistake when answering your claim on Paypal. Please disregard the answer. A refund will be issued as soon as possible. Actually the money is already being held by Paypal, so we'll just wait to clarify the mistake with them and you should get your full refund.

Sorry if you've been inconvenienced in any way.

Which is odd since i did not use paypal nor did i file a claim through it, so i replied telling them as such and informing them that i had done a chargeback.

June 25th they disputed the chargeback, so now i'm out $70 for the original order and an additional $20 for the chargeback fee that my bank stuck me with.

Do not give your money to these crooks, save yourself a headache.

Update June 28th: My bank has looked into the dispute and found that Evolution Store presented a shipping receipt for an address in America, I live in Australia, so i now have my money back again and am left wondering if this ordeal will end anytime soon.
