"I was 100% dissatisfied with Executive Cameras. What attracted me to their website was their prices. I ordered a Hitachi video camcorder. When I ordered the camera it was listed as "in-stock." However after waiting two weeks when I was suppose to have it delivered in 10 days I was told it was never in stock. The company never notified me of this prior to me contacting them. My credit card was charged (4) days after ordering. I waited another week per the request of the customer service rep. Another week went by and no camera. I called again and was again told the camera was not in stock. I then cancelled my order. My credit card was never reimbursed, even after contacting the company several times. I had to result to filing a dispute with Visa to get my monies back. I was totally disgusted with my experience with Executive Cameras. I would not ever recommend them to anyone!"
"This company is a FRAUD. they took an order over the phone 1-16-2003 for a camera. They said that it was in stock. I checked back to confirm order and could not get ahold of anyone. After several weeks I talked to a PETER, I also talked to a MARY, NICK and a MARIA they all said that a credit was being processed. This was a LIE. as of this date I still have not received a credit on my credit card account. Now it seams that they are out of business. I ordered the same product from TECH FOR LESS and got it cheaper, faster. Before ordering anything especially from NEW YORK STATE check with resellerratings.com"
"I WAS SCAMMED!!! Lots of people were. Go to yahoo.com and check out the group camerascams. We all were duped by this compant or it's affiliate bridgeviewphoto.com. My debit card was charged to the tune of over $400, and the product was never shipped or refunded. THey even gave me a fed ex tracking #, but fed ex never delivered, saying the shipper requested the packag returned. Executivecameras.com said that the camera was defective. I was promised a refund (minus the shipping of course!!) but never received it!!!! Now they are gone, no website. I filed claims with the Attorney General of NY, the FTC, my bank and the FBI Internet fraud complaint center. There are links to these in the messages posted in the camerascams yahoo group. If you were scammed too, file claims and join us!"
"I ordered a Nikon 5700 digital camera. Their website stated that order processing takes two days. Well, it did take them that long to charge my credit card, but I never received an order. I called several time and kept getting the run-around. I finally cancelled my order after a month. The charge is still on my credit card so I wrote the credit card company to remove it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!"
"Stay away from these thieves. I ordered an Olympus C5050 digital camera on 12/31/02. I gave them a try because of a great price and a recent run of apparently satisfied customers (according to the ratings). After two phone calls in which they assured me that it was in stock, not gray market, etc., I placed the order. On 1/15/03 I called again, got more lies and cancelled my order. I was told that their billing person only comes in on Sunday night so my credit would not be processed until 1/19/03. My credit card company finally back charged them in late February, long after I had completed a quick and painless transaction at dbuys.com."
"Never buy from this horrible place. It should not exist in the internet business.
They don't ship product(Fuji 3800 camera), charge your credit card next day, never answer your email, no customer support(always take you to voice message and said system was full).
The pricescan or bizrate website should not include this kind of illegal practice. Our government should
do something about it to rescue our e-commerce.

"This is the worst retailer imaginable. Ordered (order 81539) Sony DCR-TRV25 on 02/06/03 as a B-day present for friend. They billed CC on 02/11/03 and will not responded to numerous e-mails. When called (over 40 times over 6 days) the automated attendant says "Unfortunately we are unable to come to the phone at this time"
I believe this entire operation is fraudulent. BEWARE!
"
"DO NOT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THIS COMPANY! I ordered a Minolta 7Hi from this bogus company on February 8th and my credit card was debited the very next day. I started checking on the status of the order late last week via email and received no response. I tried using their 800 number this week and was disconnected no matter what option I choose. I then obtained their direct phone number from my credit card number and determined that it is currently disconnected. Absolutely the worst online shopping experience I have ever had.

"Thsi comapny is a ripp off they take your money & run with it I have purchased tons of items off the net & this is the first time I have been ripped off But I was lucky as I purchased the Fuji 3800 with my VISA which cover fraudgent sellers so I will get my money back BUT BEWARE DON"T BUY FROM THIS SITE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"This place is unbelievably terrible. I placed my order on Monday Feb 3rd and had to call them the next day due to billing issues. Later that day my credit card was charged. I figured that since a credit card is only charged upon shipment of an order that my camera was on it's way. I called a week later only to find out (after 20min hold) that they don't have it in stock. I spoke to 3 different people, including the manager, and none of them were willing to help. The first thing all of them said was "...well do you want to just cancel your order?" I informed them that it is not legal to charge a credit card and not ship a product but I was then asked why I was complaining about technicalities about the billing process but not complaining about their low prices. I was also told that they have too many "complaining" customers to deal with me and that all customers want things "their way" and that "it's not going to happen." It has now been 3 days since the order was canceled and there is still no credit to my credit card. So now I owe a balance on a product the company NEVER even had in stock!!! Throughout this entire process there were also 3 e-mails that were never responded to. ExecutiveCameras.com is the definition of a Scam Artist company. NEVER AGAIN!!!

My order was made Jan 24 & then received an email confirmation. Jan 27 E|C called to confirm & tried to up sale me. On Jan 29 my card was billed, but I still had to wait 7 more business days before it would ship. I wrote an email on Jan 31 to ask for status, but no one responded. I sent another email on Feb 6 & still no response. Since their phone # was no where on their site at the time, I had to look up their domain to retrieve it. E|C said it takes 10 days to process. On day 10 I called to retrieve my FedEx tracking # & she said, "
"SCAM ALERT! Executive Camera neither ships ordered product nor refunds money on cancelled orders. Their telephone numbers are disconnected (try calling them). Contact the New York Attorney General's (1-***-***-****) if you were victimized by these scam artists as I was. "
"From their website I ordered a Olympus digital camera which they said would be new, have a 1 yr warranty and would not be gray market. I received the camera on time. The camera however was reconditioned and had only a 90 day warranty and was a gray market camera. I called and complained and they offered me a Mack 5yr warranty at no charge, which I accepted. I was disappointed at the deception of their website and as such I would not buy from them again. The camera was a Olympus D520 and the price was $180. which was a good price."
"I ordered a Fuji Finepix 3800 and a 128mb XD picture card which was said to be in stock with 3 day shipping. Item wasn't sent until two weeks later on Jan 14th, 2003. I follwed tracking until Jan. 16th, 2003. at 12:32 hrs. the tracking all of a sudden stated that shipment was refused by recipient. I called FedEx who stated to me that the product had just been recalled off the truck by a Tara Miller of Executive Camera to be returned. I called a Tara Miller who stated she didn't know why this happened. After several more calls to Executive camera, I finally talked to shipping who stated that they had recalled the camera was not as advertised, that it was a "Gray Market" camera and had to be returned because they had advertised a US model. They stated that I would have to wait for a US model to become available and they had no idea when they would get one and that I could wait or cancel the order. I then canceled the order and today received a charge (being disputed) on my CC bill for $37.94 which I presume they are going to say is a restocking fee. Buyers should be aware of the fraudulent practices of this company. There are MUCH better companies out there and I am going to rate the best I've found, next."
"Order camera Never recieved it, But got charged and never recieved a refund. Long hold with custmer service that lead no where."
