"Like all the other reviews said, they are a total scam. They will lie about phones being in stock and they lie in anyway possible about your refund.
Here is my experience:
I ordered four sony ericsson w595 phones, big total of $613.95.
Before ordering the phones, I called customer service and ask them if they actually have the phones in stock. Their response was a big yes. I also asked if will be able to ship that day or next business day for sure and they say yes.
I pay using my credit card. I highly recommened that you don't use a debit card or anything like that because it will be harder for you to get a refund. use a credit card or paypal which protects you.
One week later after payment I notice that the status has not being changed to shipped and I called costumer service. They told me that my phones will be shipped that same day for sure.
One week later I check again and the status of my order was still pending. I called costumer service again and they said that the phones were out of stock and they will get more, the next day from their canadian warehouse and my phones will be shipped that same day.
I called next day to be completely sure that my phones were being shipped and I also wanted a tracking number. They told me that they still didn't have any phones of that kind and I will have to wait more and told them that same day to cancel my order.
They said that my order was cancel and that I will get my refund within 3-7 business day.
I called after 7 business days because there were no refund in my credit card. They lie and say that they have trouble with their credit card processing company and I must wait another 5 days for the refund to show up.
After another 5 days, I called again and they say that they still have trouble with their credit card processing company. I told them that I was going to file a claim with my credit card company and the BBB. After that day, they told me to file the complain, which I did the same day.
I called my bank, they gave me a temp refund, two weeks later they made my refund permanent. and that's the end of the story."

This seller is a complete SCAM!
I placed an order on the web site of this seller on Tuesday, there was an option for payment by phone, which was kind of weird but I did it anyway. So I called and gave them my card information after I placed the order online, they said they will charge my card and ship my phone. On Tuesday next week - still no activity in my online account the order was still ”pending”. I chatted with representative of the company online asking what is going on with my order, and they asked me to kindly redo my order through Google checkout because they couldn’t charge my card. I said alright cancel my current order and I’ll replace it. They did cancel my first order right away and redid it through Google checkout. The very same day the company told me they don't have the same color of the phone I ordered. I agreed to get a different color and they promised to ship it the same day. The next day which was Wednesday I received a email saying my order was shipped and a shipping number at my Google checkout account. I checked the number right away it was non existing, I thought I'll give it some time... Five days later – next Monday the shipping number was still non existing. I chatted with the company on their web site they told me it was shipped on Friday and will be receiving a shipping number the same day. Of course I didn't receive the promised shipping number. The next day I chatted with the company again and said straight away "I want my money back", "What is your order number" they say, after I gave the order number they said they will cancel and refund in two-three days, which can mean only one - that they have been lying all the time and never even shipped my item. I called over the phone and after they hung up on me few times I finally got a hold of someone and he kept lying on me that shipping needs five- six days and BS like that and he also said they will cancel my order and I’ll get a refund… Anyway this was Tuesday right? I kept checking my order on their website every day it was “pending” for few days. Finally on Saturday I chatted with the company again asking where is my money after I gave them the order they said it was canceled as you can probably guess at very same time I received an email from Google checkout stating that my order was canceled, which means what – of course they purposely didn’t cancel my order for five extra days and if I didn’t say anything they probably wouldn’t do so for a very long time…
So beware exoticphone.com is complete fraud and scam. I just don't understand why Google checkout works with fake companies like this one."
"These guys have every phone imaginable, there are very few places in Manhattan with their selection. Prices were good and service fast. Called at 3pm, they had my imported Nokia waiting for me within 1 hour at a price that was better than every other store. They beat Chinatown's selection and pricing by a good bit. Reccomended"
"I order a phone from this site on 6/19 and until 6/24 it still not ship so I call in to check why and they said it ran out of stock so I cancel the order on 6/24. But until now still haven't see the refund yet. This is just a cancel order, it not like a return or any thing like that but it took them 3 week still not thing yet. I do understand the fact that there will be endless issues between the merchant and the customer but the bottom line is whether the merchant takes care of these problems professionally or not. They are polite, enthusiastic, and seem to be positively concerned about what would fit your needs the best, there is too little of that in the world today.

And though users on blogsites had stated they were a scam, I'd took it upon myself to visit their office in person at 20 West 30th street in Manhattan, NY. I couldn't believe it myself! So far, they have the lowest prices from what I've seen online. I'd paid $599 for the Xperia x1i, which is a fairly low price compare to other merchants. "Ordered a phone and received a tracking # via email that day. Contacted GSM Intl. 2 days later when UPS tracking info showed that phone never shipped. Called and was told to contact shipping after weekend. Did so and was told that the color ordered was not in stock. Agreed to another color and was told that phone was to be shipped next day service on same tracking #. Checking tracking today delivery is scheduled in 7 days, long after I've left on a trip. Although they are polite, dealing with the folks there is like talking to a wall: it's their way or the highway. I chose the latter and cancelled the order. "Received a package from this company, which was purchased by someone on Bainbridge Island WA, who stole, and used, one of our company's credit card #s.
I called Exoticphone.com (during their listed business hours), and listened to their phone ring around 50 times before I finally hung up.
So, I visited their website, and noticed a button marked "Call Me Back." (again, during their listed business hours.) I am still waiting for a return call.
If they process orders using stolen credit cards, they just might be too busy to return legitimate calls.....

"Like many of the other reviews for this company I have had ONLY bad experiences with them. I placed my order, they have my money, and after that the customer service is nil. On March 9th Mark contacted me to verify my shipping address, since I am trying to get it sent to an APO I can understand that there may be some concern about that. I sent an e-mail response, and called just to make sure that my order would be shipped as soon as possible. I spoke directly with Mark and he had me send him another e-mail confirming that address that he already had and I had already verified over the phone and in the previous e-mail. I asked him for a confirmation e-mail to make sure that he had recieved it and of course that never happened. The next day I sent another e-mail via their websight and got no response so I called again and was told that the order would be shipped out that day. I came into work on the 11th to an e-mail stating that the order was shipped via UPS which does NOT ship to APO. Now I will have to call them again and find out where they actually sent my $209 phone to. With that said, I am in Iraq right now, and I need the phone to support the soldiers I am assigned to, and not to mention that it is costing me a fortune to call back to the states. This was all made very clear to them from day one, I made a mistake by patronizing this place and I encourage anyone who is thinking about doing the same to smash their hand with a hammer instead because I'm sure it would be less painful.
Update 25 March 2008:
The phone was shipped to my home address in TX, where my wife had to pack it back up and ship it out to me overseas. Fine, I had a box coming to me anyway, whats adding a few more things. The phone arrived here about 6 days later, I charged it up and the battery immediatly discharged after unplugging it. They sent me the WRONG battery for the phone! I wrote them an e-mail on the 23rd, which was a Sunday that I expressed my dis-satisfaction with them and there customer service. To my suprise they e-mailed me back on the same day and told me that they were going to ship me a new battery out right away, and today on the 25th I have delivery confirmation numbers for the item. They did a good job resolving the battery issue for me, however it has not made my opinion of the store any better. I had to send a very nasty e-mail that I didn't want to send in order to get quality customer service out of them. I still would not recommend this store to a friend or anyone else."
