"This is the second high-end smartphone I've bought from Expansys USA, The first was an HD2 long before they were available through a carrier, and this phone was a Samsung Galaxy S2 (FANTASTIC!) I always buy unlocked phones as I travel outside the U.S. quite a bit and use local SIM cards. Expansys is one of the few places with high-end unlocked phones. My order was processed and shipped the same day and arrived as scheduled.

With the HD2, as with the S2, the only concern is with the warranty. Any warranty service requires that the phone be shipped back to Expansys and they will send it to whichever country they bought the phone in for repair. Fortunately, I haven't had to do it.

I did call Expansys customer service with a couple questions about the capabilities of the latest phone I bought. The answers were unsatisfactory (Gee, I dunno.), so I e-mailed my questions to them and did get a prompt and accurate response.

But, when the next latest and greatest phone comes out, I'll probably get one through Expansys."
