I've the same experience - twice now - as others posting reviews here: they advertise a quantity of a bargain-priced item, take your order, then contact you to say that it's out of stock, but they have a substitute or new item... for a lot more money. I'm done with them. Stay away, they are shady."

"I searched for a storage array and found that Express IT Options was advertising the exact model that I was looking for at a good price. Their website shows a quantity of 9 available. I placed and order on August 21, 2008, gave them my credit card number, and received a confirmation email a few minutes later. On August 25, late in the afternoon, I received an email stating that they did not have the item and they would not be able to fulfill my order, ever! I went back to their website and they were still showing 9 available of this same item.
I have experienced this same problem a few times recently. I think these sellers don't actually have the items they are selling. They are just advertising them and hope to buy them and ship them when someone buys one. I wasted valuable time. I needed this item this week, now I have to find another source and pay for express delivery!"
"Refurbished item listed on their web page as "Quantity: 1" and "Availability: Most orders by 3pm CST Ship Same Business Day" was not actually in stock. They accepted payment without any warning about this. Did not respond to email inquiry -- finally informed that it was not in stock when I called them a week later, and refunded my money. Call them first to make sure that refurbished items they have listed are actually available!"
"I was looking for a gateway OEM motherboard that has been hard to find. They showed to have stock so I ordered it. On the 28thI got a disappointing note that this part was out of stock. I wrote back and asked them if they could find one somewhere. Later that same day I got a reply saying they had located this part and it would have the same price and warranty as if it had come from their warehouse. It was shipped and I had it by Thursday afternoon.
This company's personnel went out of their way to help where many store personnel just tell you it's out of stock, tough luck! I'll definitely check with Express IT Options the next time I'm looking for hard-to-find replacement OEM parts."
