"Buyer beware! We ordered a pair of glasses on Dec. 26, 2011. The website said that the glasses would take a couple of days to process and then sent out via USPS. On Jan 3, I had received no status update (you can't check online unless you make an account first), so I called the # on the website. I had to press 0 to get to a person, and was immediately placed on hold and then sent to voicemail. I left a message, and decided to leave a message through their website as well. Later that day I received an email reply saying "We apologize for the delay. Your order is expected to ship later today with a delivery date for end of this week." After reading reviews online, I got highly antsy over this but decided to wait. The following Tuesday when I still had no glasses, I called again. This time, I got to speak to a live person, who told me that they shipped out the glasses that morning and I should receive them by the end of the week. When I asked her why I received an email the previous week saying the same thing, she said the shipping department was facing problems starting on Wednesday so nothing was able to get shipped out. I told her they had sent me an email on Tuesday, and she then told me she didn't know what had happened. I asked to speak to someone else, and was promptly sent to someone's voicemail. After getting off the phone, I checked the credit card statement, and my card had not been charged. Later that afternoon, I called back to cancel the order (my stepdaughter was going without glasses all this time, so I decided to go to a local place). The rep told me that the lenses had already be cut, and could be overnighted so I would receive them the next day (note: earlier in the day I was told they had already been shipped that morning). I declined the offer. That evening, they called me with the same story and offered to overnight the glasses and give me a tracking number. I politely declined, saying that I had been given too many stories and no longer wanted to do business with them. At least my card was never charged (although I do find it strange that they would make a custom order like glasses without charging my card first. I should have used Coastal Contacts the first time for these glasses, but my stepdaughter was wanting a specific frame."
"The WORST buying experience and customer service I've met in my life!!!!!! I wish I could put negative star here!!! I've made payment for almost 3 months and I still have NOT received my glasses. They rarely receive phone calls (even during business hours) and rarely reply emails so I doubt that there are actually people working there. I asked for a refund since I never receive the product but nobody ever replied me. It's just really BAD! Totally NOT recommended!"

"Let me begin that I have many years in the 'Eye Biz". I was an Optician, Optometric Tech, Opthalmic Assistant. I have fitted, sold, and made glasses. I have given exams and assisted in surgery.
Frames and lenses are the primary source of income for an Optometrist (NOT exams). The mark-up is huge. $200 lenses usually cost under $5. $200-$300 frames usually cost under $15. The increase in lenses is to pay for the service (which though follow standards are easy to make with today's equipment). But they must be maned and maintained. Frame price increases are because...well...everything has a cost and overhead and places need to make money. This goes for any product.
With this in mind, I will say this: Eyeglasses for all has THE LOWEST selling price of frames and lenses I have come across. And I looked. I was extremely hesitant purchasing online. When dealing with an online business, don't expect to get personalized service and a smile. Nor immediate responses. They have many customers. They sell a product. Want a cheery "hello, may I adjust your glasses" then go to an Optical chain and spend at LEAST $100 more. Or go to a discount retailer and spend less getting very poor quality.
My Oakley frames arrived within 2 weeks. They were in an unopened box and authentic. I attempted tracking them through UPS and was unable (because they were sent USPS) which I failed to remember. I took these frames and spent almost double for lenses. I regret not having Eyeglasses4all make them. But, I was being cautious until I checked out the frames. It was my gamble. In very near future, I will purchase another pair with lenses. I will look for scratches, take the lens out to make sure it is polycarbonate (has somewhat of a poker chip sound landing flat on a surface). I will also use a Lensometer to check the prescription. For others, you can take your glasses in and have them checked. Your eye doc/optical shop may say they aren't perfect because they want your business. But lenses are made by everyone within a certain tolerance. If these places adjust your glasses, it is at your risk and they are not going to replace a chipped lens or shaped frame. If wearing bifocals, have someone very experienced measure the hight and use frames with notepads so they can be adjusted. "

"I ordered the Oakley Testimony eyeglasses in blackberry. They are beautiful!..just love them! The color is better than appeared online. The service from Eyeglasses4all was great. I have no complaints. Well only one which would be with USPS because the package was never scanned so I could track my order. I placed the order on Sept. 6, it was shipped on Sept.7 and I just received them today, Sept. 10. I would definitely recommend them to friends."
"Cannot recommend at all. Website states that glasses ship in 2-3 business days and mine have not shipped. Website states that if there is a delay, they will contact you to explain and I was never contacted. The glasses that I ordered are not prescription so there is nothing "special" about my order to cause the delay in shipping since their website lists the glasses as being "in stock".
I contacted Eyeglasses4All on a Tuesday and was told that my glasses would ship at the end of the week. It is now Friday and my glasses have not shipped.
I sent a follow-up email to them asking for an explanation and have not heard back from them.
A great price means nothing when the product never arrives and there is no valuable feedback on what is delaying the order of an "in stock" item.
I will be more than happy to update my review, if someone gets in touch with me and helps to resolve the issue.
They were quick to cancel my order. I am thankful that was not a problem. If I had more time to wait for my order to be filled, I would try them again because of their prices."

"In one word, TERRIBLE! I had to call customer service multiple times to ask the status on my eye glasses which I ordered on June 6th and just received them yesterday August 22. I was misinformed about what was really going on. I was continually promised that my glasses would ship the next day which never happened. Then they told me that they were directly working with the warehouse to resolve that problem and then still forgot to order the glasses in. Just about everything that could go wrong with them did and I was only told that they could give a 10% discount for all my troubles the last three months. "No complaints! I ordered my Oakley Metal Plate prescription glasses without checking company reviews (not smart, I know, but I was excited about the price, ability to enter my own prescription, and stated turn-around time). After reading a couple of reviews, I became a bit nervous. Day 1: Ordered glasses and received order confirmation (was encouraged, but hadn't checked review web sites-- checked web sites and became skeptical). Day 2: Received confirmation email of glasses shipped (remained doubtful from some comments on web sites). Days 3-4: Saturday and Sunday. Day 5: Received glasses in mail!!
With the GREAT prices and OUTSTANDING turnaround time, I am now looking for a second pair to purchase.
