"When I ordered my glasses from these folks, I wasn't expecting a lightning fast turnaround time. I have a pretty odd prescription, so I know lenses can take some time to get right. Plus, I did my research and knew they were on the East Coast, while I'm in Seattle. Bit of a distance there, but that was fine with me.

It took about 10 days for my order to get to me, which was what I'd expected. No problems there, and when I opened it up, I got exactly what I'd wanted. The frames fit exactly right, and there are no issues at all with the lenses. These are perfect. I'm very satisfied with my experience with eyeglasses4all.com, that's for sure.

When I need glasses again, I'll ordering from these folks again. Count on it.

"I was in the market for new eyeglasses, but I had used my insurance money for the year on contacts. I wanted a specific pair of Ray-Bans that I had tried on at another retailer but they would have cost me over $200 worth of co-pays at that store. I took down the model number and size, got a copy of my prescription and ordered online. In about a week, I had exactly the glasses I wanted for about 1/2 the price. Amazing. I would strongly recommend anyone thinking of getting glasses to get them online. They even offered free lenses and my prescription was perfect. Very very impressed. I tell everyone."

"Worst Store ever! I ordered a pair of glasses and the prescription was incorrect. so I sent them back, when I got them back, the color of the lens was not the same (I had transitions) one went dark the other lens did not. so I sent them back again... 3rd time is the charm? NO! they changed the lens but the color was still not the same! this place is horrible. I sent them back and got a refund. at least they gave me my money back.

"When I first received my glasses, they made the lenses with the wrong prescription! I contacted them immediately, and they just told me to wear them for a few days so I could get used to them. Hah! There was no way that was going to happen as they were completely wrong. I had to take the glasses to my ophthalmologist's office, so they could write on a prescription pad the correct prescription a second time, and write down what their analyzer found. Ok, so everyone makes a mistake. Armed with that information, I got a new pair from this vendor fairly quickly and they seem to be fine. I let this slide and didn't post any feedback anywhere.

Then, 10 months after purchasing the glasses, the frame broke just from my pushing them up on my face! Ugh! Their website said one year warranty, contact us, no problems. Sure. I called them, and they said send us the broken frames, wait several days, then we'll send you a new pair in several days (turn around time 2 weeks). I was away from home on a trip. I couldn't wait several days! I was near NYC (they are listed in Brooklyn) and asked to come to their store, which they refused. I offered to just buy a new pair of the same frames and replace the lenses myself. I was desperate and made that clear to them. They did not offer a credit for the frames I would return or any other assistance of any kind. I was on a business trip and needed help asap. Yet, the frames, which are listed in stock, would take 2-3 days to ship and will only ship priority mail, no other options, no help from their store, no matter what I offered them. So I had to get a new pair of frames overnighted from someone on Ebay.

That's twice this store let me down. I let the person on the phone know how poor their service had been, and now I figure I would let everyone else know. The irony in all this??? They are offering free frames to customers who write positive reviews of their store. How about just fixing mine?!

Update: A month and a half after sending back the broken frames, I had to call them as I still had not received a replacement. They apologized, "I don't know why they haven't been sent yet." Did receive replacement frames about two months after sending back old pair.

"I've wanted these rayban glasses for awhile, but they were a little out of my budget... I randomly googled them and eyeglasses4all.com popped up. I got the frames and lenses I wanted for more than half what I was expecting to pay! Love them! Wearing them as I type : )"

"i ordered last march 1. payed for shipping and was told that i will receive the item 5 - 7 days. it has been 14 days now since i ordered and i have not received it. called them a couple of times and they even gave me a tracking number and said shipping will be upgraded. yet when i checked it in UPS' online services, the UPS did not even receive the item from Eyeglass4all. i called a week after, still the same the UPS does not still have the item so they cant deliver anything.

"Eyeglasses4All Customer Service as of March 2011: Okay.. so why did I find all these reviews about Eyeglasses4all AFTER I placed my order online, but still tried to give this company the benefit of the doubt. I placed my order March 9th and called them a couple mins ago, 3 business days later, (their site says will ship 2-3 days.) The phone keeps ringing, someone picks up and I hear a mumble, and then music comes on the line again and and no one answers. I hang up and call again twice, phone keeps ringing until it goes to an answer machine. I call again and I get a lady's mumbling voice once again and again back on hold to the ringing. They obviously have lousy people or a 1-person customer srv dept, who is not interested in picking up the phone. I call one more time and FINALLY! They realize I'm not going to give up, and she picks up. And of course! "This size has been discontinued. You should've gotten an email from us.." ARGH! Yeah obviously, I didn't get an e-mail since you didn't get around to 'doing your job'. Just like your service lags in answering the phone AND my e-mail inquiry. I would've had my eyeglasses by now if I went with a different company."

"sent an email saying it was shipped, then got an email saying it was shipped another day. tracking number shows no progress... you need to email them 4 times to ONE response. i am blatantly being LIED to.. as another reviewer said. there is basically NO customer service. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!
some women pretends to be different people.

even their ebay store has complaints of missing packages, things not being shipped, never getting orders, ect... they dont care.

"I lost my pair of glasses that I bought from LensCrafters. I bought them for $279. I ordered the same exact pair with the same lenses and options and only paid $129. I thought it was too good to be true, but it wasn't. I did have to wait about 10 days for the glasses to arrive. However it was worth it! They are of the same quality as LensCrafters plus I saved 150 dollars! Highly recommend."

"Great company, Easy to use website and prices are a big savings over retail. I saved almost half the retail price. Free shipping is good and item arrived safely packaged. Highly recommend!
I was really impressed with the quality of the customer service with this order. I ordered a pair of replacement eyeglass frames for a pair that had broken (my lenses were still fine). The frames was on a slight backorder, however the customer service rep overnight shipped them to make up some of the lost time and kept in contact with me regarding my frame shipments. I got my frames in less than three weeks. I got polite email messages and voicemails to my phone regarding the status of my order and the customer service reps I emailed were also very helpful and polite. I think this was a positive experience and I would order here again even with the slight backorder. Polite customer service goes a long way, this is something more companies should invest in!

"I ordered Oakleys, they shipped me Fauxleys!

I ordered replacement Oakley frames which they claimed were in stock. It still took them 8 days to ship out, and I didn't get an e-mail until I called them. When the frames arrived, I noticed that they had plastic temples, instead of the metal ones, the finish was slightly different, and my lenses barely fit. Closer inspection revealed "China" on the frames, which the originals did not have. Now I know why they were cheaper. I kept them because I needed to see, and was out of contact lenses, but will not order from them again.
