"8/19 - I placed an order on their website.
8/20 - My card was charged.
8/22 - I asked for a shipping update as I hadn't heard anything.
8/23 - I got an email saying one of the items was on backorder and asked if I'd like a refund for that item or a different item. I responded that day asking for an ETA on the backordered item.
8/28 - I emailed again as I hadn't gotten a response.
8/29 - I emailed again as I still hadn't gotten a response, telling them to cancel my order and refund my card.
8/29 - 5 minutes later Chris calls and says all items are magically available and they will overnight them if I want. I told them no thanks and to cancel my order and refund my card. He says he can't because he just paid a big bill and won't have the funds available until the next week. I told them to cancel it anyway.
The order delay normally wouldn't have been a big deal because stuff happens, especially when you are dealing with other vendors. But the complete lack of responsiveness, charging me for items that weren't available and/or never shipped, and then refusing to refund me were the clinchers on this bad experience."
"Item didn't ship after two weeks. The status is still listed as "Awaiting Shipment." I called in for an update, but was told that only Chris can check on the status of an order and he's only available by email. I just sent another email. Not recommended."
