"They shorted me a timing belt tensioner on my order R088804132 and instead of sending the missing part they just make empty promises.
They keep telling me they have to check inventory with their warehouse - if the count is off! Or someone has to approve the replacement (Story changes every call). Really?!?! Do they think I am going to cheat them out of one of the cheapest items of my order. Check your inventory count but SEND ME MY PART!
After all theses years being a loyal customer they treat me like a common criminal. They tell me every day they are going to overnight the missing and in stock item and yet nothing arrives. Very Very poor.
I was loyal for years even when my orders sometimes arrived looking like packed by a 5yo. with busted open boxes. NO MORE!!! Time to go somewhere else! “My name is Shane and I'm the Manager of Customer Experience at FCP Euro. We're sorry for the experience you've had because we take providing the best service as possible extremely seriously, and we understand needing your parts on time and without a hitch.
I looked into the problem and found that there was a mistake in our team, where the request for your expedited replacement order was incorrectly submitted and wasn't caught until you followed up yesterday to check its status. From that point, Scott promptly submitted a new request to get a replacement in motion, but our Distribution Center didn't review it until it was past the latest shipping carrier pick up time.
To say that I'm sorry is an understatement - we don't typically operate in such a fashion, and we would usually have had a replacement on your doorstep by Tuesday after calling on Monday. If there is ever a future issue, I'm sure you'll find that to be the case. I've personally picked and shipped the tensioner this morning, so you'll absolutely have this for tomorrow. As a token of our apology, I've processed a refund for half the amount of your order, or $256.08, and added $50 of Customer Credit to your account to use on a future purchase. Refunds usually post within 1-3 business days, depending on the speed of your bank.
