"Prior to buying this bed frame I bought my Temperapedic mattress with box spring for $3,000. I contacted Factorees to inquire about two things. One, to assure that the bed frame is all genuine leather. I was skeptical that it was considering the price but then they confirmed it was and since it's a factory price I decided to trust the customer service's words. Then I knew this was a platform bed and only requires a mattress I wanted to see if I could use my box spring and still be able to use the built-in end tables. I got a confirmation e-mail saying I could definitely do so. When I received the product they were nowhere close to leather. Not only the upholstery was bulging on the footboard it was NOT leather. You couldn't smell leather anywhere. When I contacted them they said the top of the headboard and the back of the headboard and the footboard were leather, which was a lie.
As for the box spring issue, first of all I think the customer service is outsourced. Not only there was a real bad static in connection the agent couldn't understand what I was saying. He kept saying why did you buy the box spring, you should just return the box spring or take the end tables out and use them separately while they are supposed to be screwed onto the side of the bed. Then he said there's no supervisor there who answers calls. I would have to send e-mails then they would reply within the next 24 hours, which I already did but they didn't address my concerns at all. Then the agent said all sales are final and I can't return it unless "
"Horrible customer service !!!! Avoid this company and buy elsewhere
Bought a leather bed from Factorees and the problems started immediately. They advertised the bed as made of top grain leather, well it's not, it's definitely "pleather". I saw the identical bed advertised elsewhere saying it is manmade leather, so on the same day I ordered I sent them an email asking why they are advertising leather and others are advertising manmade leather. I received a response from "Will" in customer service assuring me that this product is 100% top quality leather which it is absolutely not. There is a small cutoff in the "leather" to allow mounting the bolt, that was cut out but remained connected and missed by their Quality control so I have a full access to the underside and it is absolutely positively man made with the typical fabric under the vinyl. Even after I bring to their customer service, they are still in denial. Furthermore, the bed requires two sets of support legs each about 1/3 of the distance across the width of the frame. They sent only 1 leg with the bed. I contacted them to send me the missing leg. They insisted that the bed requires only one leg and that it is in the middle of the bed. I sent them pictures showing that there are no holes in the center of the frame and there are two sets of holes that are 1/3 and 2/3 of the distance from the edge meaning it requires two sets of legs. Any kindergarden age child can figure out that the bed frame requires two legs not one and that it is not centered. I am still awaiting their response. Third issue is that they quoted a 3-8 week delivery, yet it was delivered over 10 weeks after the order was placed. Also, their web site says that the delivery is directly into the home, yet the shipping document clearly says "curbside" delivery. Luckily the two delivery folks (from a different company that they contract with) were willing to bring the parts in (it is impossible for one person to carry these inside. Furthermore, there were a few scratches on one part of the bed. These were concealed since the boxes are closed. These were pretty minor but clearly they shipped that way from the factory because the box was in good shape fo that part. When I brought this up, they tried to pass blame to the shipping company, saying I should have noted the damage inside the box when I signed for the shipment. They said for warranty coverage, I would need to send the part to their office in Florida and wait for them to make a determination if it is covered or not, ie you need to spend a few hundred dollars to get turned down.
This company is completely deceptive and their customer service is beyond horrible. Fortunately the scratches were only minor and we can live with them, but i warn everybody to look elsewhere. Do not be enticed by the low price because you are actually paying higher when all the headaches are accounted for."
