"While trying to install an Auxillery Adapter into my 04 Mazda Tribute, I headed to the Factory Car Stereo Repair website to buy and download the radio removal instructions. I spent the money thinking that if I did, I might get better instructions on what to do then what I found online.
The store was quick and easy, and as soon as I hit submit on Paypal I had the Username and Password to use. But the removal instructions I was sent, even though they said the were for a Mazda Tribute, were not, they were for a Ford Escape. Comparable, yes, but not in any way the same when it comes to the stereo. Basically they said you need one set of tools when in actually you need two, and they also did not tell me that I would need to remove the Dash panel of my car which I did have to so.
Lastly, the website gives the you no more information than what is on the box of the DIN Tools that you have to buy in order to take the radio out. Thus making it seem like you are trying to charge a customer, yet give them nothing for it.
By the way, after buying from their site. I then did a couple hours more research and found another forum with detailed graphic instructions on what to do FOR FREE."
