"Terrible product and service! The battery I received from them was very poor and became unusable a little over a month of use. After a month there are no refunds but you can ship it back for an exchange but the costs of this approach the costs of a new battery!

"This is a fraudulent company. There is no direct way to contact anyone there. It should be put out of business. Pearland Texas is on the outskirts of Houston. I went to the Houston Better Business Bureau web site and found out it does not respond to BBB complaints. There were two phone numbers listed for FDC on the BBB site. I dialed both of them and in both cases got a "no longer in service" message. Here's what the BBB says:

"Very Deceptive!!! I ordered a battery that they indicated they had in stock. Since I was ordering a battery and had to pay their S/H fee any ways, I ordered a leather case too. To my surprise, I received a leather case in the mail with my Invoice saying the battery was Back Ordered!!!! Numerous emails later, I am assured it will arrive and then was delayed because of Tropical storm Ike. Now I see they refunded my battery amount (not the shipping). This is after they assured me it was going out last week. I have been dealing with these losers for almost a month!!!!!! NEVER AGAIN"

"Wow, I wish I had read these reviews before I ordered my cell phone battery. It has been 3 weeks and no battery. I guess the missing phone number from the web page and automated answer machine were a good hint I wasn't going to see my battery.
Oh well, live and learn. Cancelling that charge on my card and moving on to better companies. "
"Should have read these reviews before using Factory Direct Cellular. Ordered a cover/case for a Motorola w385, which was delivered quickly. But the cover/case was inferior and did not fit the phone well at all. I returned it as directed by the seller and asked to exchange it for a better quality leather case. 3 weeks have passed and I have not heard or been able to communicate with them after repeated e-mails. Called American Express to dispute the charge and they immediately canceled it as they have had numerous complaints about this vendor. They also gave me a phone # ***-***-****. I called, but no answer."
