"I ordered a combustion blower on 2/3. Checked a couple of day later and it did not show any information on shipping. I called and they said they had a "blowout sale" and all of the blowers were gone. Sorry, none left for you.
I called back the next day, not identifying my order and asked about parts availability, they had 3 in stock. I asked about shipping it out. First said it was already shipped, then said my CC was declined, then hung up. When I called back the line was blocked. I called from another line, same story. Can I give them less than 1 star?
Not a company to do business with.

"In February, I had a draft inducer motor fail in my furnace. I found the part online at Famous Discount Warehouse (famousdiscountwarehouse.com or FDW3.com) as "B4833000 Vent Motor Gas". I later discovered multiple storefronts for this vendor (another is famousparts.com). The part was listed at $158 ea. with free overnight air. The quick shipping was important to me since the furnace was out of service during the middle of the winter, and my house had gotten quite cold. I placed an online order for two of the same motors so that I'd have a back-up.
By mid-day, I received an e-mail from the vendor stating that my order had been cancelled because it wasn't clear what I wanted and they couldn't reach me at my home phone number. I called the vendor immediately, and then throughout the day, to try to have the order reactivated. The following resulted: 1st call - "It may be too late to reactivate your order since items have already shipped for the day. Let me check, and I'll call you back." (no follow-up). 2nd call - I was put on hold and no one ever responded. 3rd call - no pick-up (maybe screened by caller ID?). 4th call - "Hold on and I'll see if anyone is available." & no one ever responded. I also e-mailed their customer service address multiple times with no success.
Finally, I gave up trying to talk to anyone and decided just to place my order a 2nd time. After work that same day, I went to the vendor's website and what did I find... the part had been increased in price from $158 to $187 each! Apparently the vendor felt that it had mismarked the price for the item and when it discovered this (during the processing of my order) it chose to cancel my order using a pretext/ruse and then ignore my requests to have it reactivated.
As it turns out, FDW actually did me a favor. I placed my order with KTOOL.NET at a slightly lower cost (including overnight air shipping). KTOOL earned an A+, whereas FDW earned an F. I won't order from "Famous Discount Warehouse" again in the future, and I hope you don't either. If they're truly famous for anything, then it would have to be their terrible customer service.
