"Requested a refund of $15.70. Purchased a ticket on 6/30 and when I got to theater it was still pending on the app. I hadn’t received a confirmation number so I could not use it. I had to buy another ticket at the theater as a result to see the movie. Fandango will not refund your money due to their system error! Per their "policy" you have to request a refund before the movie. Well I did not as I arrived 5 minutes before the movie started - I'm not sitting on the phone or a chat room with Fandango for hours because of THEIR SYSTEM ERROR. Well, I later went onto the website and tried to contact them only to sit in a queue for 40+ minutes. The fandango rep was rude, unapologetic and said she could not refund it. I have used Fandango for years. This is the first time I've had an issue with their service. It will be the last since they take your money and admit no failure. "

"Their Mobile App didn't work. After filling in all the information I got to the end with no way to finalize the transaction. The "Submit" button was missing. Then I tried again, and it said the Promo Code I was entering had already been used. I know it has--it was used by ME. I got caught in a loop with no way out. The Promo Code I received for donating blood became useless because of their crappy App."
"Wow! I wish I would have googled Fandango's reviews before I tried to purchase tickets for them. I highly recommend NEVER buying tickets with them. I will be deleting my account and never using them again.
Simply put, I bought tickets. Needed to return them (which they allow), but when I called (which they require) I was on hold for almost an hour. I hung up, then emailed them. They didn't respond. Finally when I got a hold of them they said I was outside of the allowable window to return. Avoid them at all costs!"
"I called and used the live chat for Fandango to try to get a refund, was told that I would get it, but never saw the follow-through from Fandango. My initial contact w/ customer service was via phone and the lady seemed clueless or was playing dumb but I persisted and she finally said I'd get a "courtesy refund". I waited a few days and didn't see the refund, so I decided to use the live chat instead. I use the live chat to explain the promise made by Fandango and the rep said he'd escalate my case and that I'd be contact within day. I waited again and was never contacted. I used the live chat once more and was told the same thing and still nothing. I WILL BE DELETING FANDANGO FROM MY PHONE, BLOCKING ALL EMAILS, AND LEAVING THIS REVIEW IN AS MANY PLACES AS I CAN FIND. I WILL ALSO TELL EVERYONE I KNOW ABOUT THIS AND MAYBE THEY WILL DECIDE NOT TO USE FANDANGO ANYMORE TOO."
"I purchased two movie tickets through the Fandango App on my phone like I regularly do for all the movies that I have seen (Please check my history) for yesterday's 05/19/2019 shows of John Wick Chapter 3.
Once I reached the theatre the attendant of the auditorium tried to scan my tickets by she was not able to do so which I found strange. I had clearly paid for my ticket and Fandango charge me 30+ USD for the same. I was at my chosen seat and later after 5 minutes a family came to us claiming that they have the same seats reserved and showed us their tickets. We went to the auditorium manager and he told us that since the other family had booked the tickets using the Cinemark app their tickets were valid and since ours was booked through Fandango, "There must have been an issue with Fandango" and only Fandango can do anything about it. It was shameful to have experienced that. I could not ask for a refund from the app since the movie started at 4 PM PST and it was already 4:10 PM PST. I tried calling the Fandango Customer Care but was put on hold for 10 minutes after which I lost my patience and hung up before even getting to a representative.
Never going to book movie tickets using Fandango."

Even though I was new to using the company and was unaware of the policy I thought they would definitely help me out. They did nothing for me and now I'm out money for something i didnt use."
"I wish I could give no stars. Every UHD movie I've bought through FandangoNOW has messed up with sound and customer service has never been helpful. Luckily the movies transfer to my Vudu account, so I can watch them there.
Fandango is worst; their customer service took 10 days to respond to me for a ticket/points issue recently (described below), and when I wasn't happy with their response and asked again that they fix their mistake, I have yet to be answered at all. That was 13 days ago.
They aren't giving me the VIP points for two movies I purchased in November because they said they weren't active at the time. That's not true because I distinctly remember seeing "You will earn VIP points with this purchase." Otherwise I wouldn't have done it because both times I was seeing movies that had been out for awhile and therefore did not need to be purchased in advance. I was ONLY doing it to earn my points, so I would have noticed if I wasn't.
They just lie and do whatever they want."
