"We love FAO Schwarz. Every time we are in the city we visit the store. BUT their online shopping and customer service is very bad.

But there online shopping and customer service is very bad. I bought 6 items online around christmas time. 2 of the items for my daughter, and 4 of them as a gift.

When I received our items , they came in 2 seperate packages - , there was no puchase receipt / puchase slip inside the packages.
Also no indication this was bought from FAO. - I was very dissaponted because I also sent 4 items as a gift that meant, they will not be able to exchange the items incase they want to, and they wont even have information that these itmes were from FAO-
I called the customer service, ( I also emailed twice) they said these item was sent from 3rd party - they did not take the blame. BUT I purcahed all 6 items from http://FAO.com.

The 4 items was sent as a gift. Incase they want to return item how wil they do that? No item number- no information! They wont even know this item was bought from FAO.

The customer service admitted it was a mistake not to put puchase slip inside box, but 3 rd party did it..
I simply requested them to mail puchase slip on the 4 gift items, so incase they want to exchange they will have the receipt....they appoligized and told me they could not do that ! I told them I would never purchase from FAO .com, they thanked my service..."
