"I ordered a Feisol tripod and decided later that it would not work for my application. I emailed Feisol and they agreed to accept an exchange. I later emailed them asking for a refund and according to their web site I needed a RMA number. I emailed again to request an RMA and no reply. I sent yet another email stating that I was going to refuse delivery and the tripod would be returned. No reply for 13 days and I was given an excuse that they were changing servers and that my email must have been blocked by spam blockers. I was told I would get a full refund. Once the Fedex confirmed delivery, I emailed again asking for my refund and no reply again. So far I have no tripod and they have my money.

UPDATE:

I spoke to Michael at Feisol USA on 7/7 and he advised me that he sent the refund through Paypal although I used a non Paypal credit card for that purchase. He gave me Paypal’s customer service number and I had to give them my credit card number to check for the refund. They have no record of any refund being made to my credit card. It is very clear that Feisol USA is jerking me around and I would never buy anything from them based on their business practices!

Michael finally had Paypal email a confirmation of my refund. Really poor excuse for any company.

Bottomline is that the intial ordering went as expected but the return and customer service after the sale was the worst I have ever encountered.
