AVOID AT ALL COST!!!!

"I ordered 3 items for my ferret and received 3 items for horseback riding. I contacted customer service and they asked for pictures of the stuff that I received so that they could refund my money. I sent them the pictures and never heard anything else from them. They did not refund the money and I never got the items that I purchased. There are many other places to buy things for your pets. DO NOT USE THIS SITE! (Unless you want to just throw your money away)"

I am blown away how incompetent these people are!

"On May 23 I placed an order, that I cancelled on June 25. I received the confirmation of cancellation that same day. On August 23 they charged my card and sent me and email that they are processing the order. I emailed them back that day, and then again on September 4 as I did not hear from them, to let them know that my order CANCELLED. However, I just received an email with the shipping confirmation. I do not understand why, after confirming in writing that my order has been cancelled, they are charging and sending it to me? And they ignore my emails? I still have not heard from them and I need them to issue a refund and provide a shipping label so I can mail the product back when it arrives.

Read before you shop or order

"I had an absolutly horrible horrible experience with them.
So I picked out about 100$ worth of stuff and I paided extra to get it to me faster. They say their stuff is out 1 to 2 business day it out, I called them 3 days later they had no clue where my stuff is if its even shipped or still in the warehouse first off. Then this morning i find out that it's in our mailing facility but its severely damaged and apprently missing items. I dont even know what I'm getting or the condition its it. I paid extra to get it here because my ferrets needed 3 of the collection of items i ordered...

I'm not alone in this issue many people have had this problem next time I'll just find the time to go out to the store and pay the extra at store this is just ridiculous. They dont know anything and their "upper management" never talks to you never calls or what ever. Never ever again.

If you order from here be ready to wait a week or 2 for your stuff, it may be damaged which I've now read is a common occurence. Dont pay extra dont waste your money!! Becuase to them it's only counts when it leaves the warehouse so if you order and pay extra for 2 to 4 day shipping if it leaves the warehouse in 4 days you'll get it in 6 to 8 days... oh and the staff when you call they dont ecen know their own shipping time frames they have their own shipping time frames the sites and theirs are different...

NEVER GET A CAGE FROM FERRET.COM

"Bought a double ferret nation cage and spent a good amount of $$ for all who know they are expensive. First off when I got it the box was soooooo damaged it looked like it was tossed off a building . Not exaggerating!! Thought it might be ok still considering its a heavy duty cage. Well I thought wrong..both doors top and bottom were crooked and parked were bent and broke also paint scratched ..so badly damaged I couldn't put it together .. NEVER BUY FROM THERE !! "

Disappointed!

"I have used ferret.com for a few years now. I have noticed that the each time I order it have been slower and slower to get the order shipped. I placed a order on Wednesday and here it is Monday and on the website it shows the order is being processed. I call and they proceed to tell me they are pretty sure the order shipped. But aren't sure they would call me back. Well 4 hours later no call and I call again and they still aren't sure and then I told them I just want my ordered cancelled. They can't do that either because they don't know. So now I have to go to the pet store and buy food because they don't know anything! "

"This was NOT our first time dealing with a Ferret.Com discrepancy (remember the EVO Food recall?) but this is the first and last financial security issue. THEY HAVE NO FAIL SAFE TO STOP CC THEFT! My daughter placed an order using her (default) billing info on the website. It showed the last 4 digits...She purchased three bags of food on sale on autoship. Everything was in stock. This was mid week and by Friday I get a text alert that MY credit card had been billed. They also charged an additional fee to ship from an outside warehouse. I call their office to get MY funds reimbursed and her extra charges dropped, but its closed. Fast forward to Monday when I call their customer service dept. Rude, just rude...no help no apologies. Thats it. I'm asking my daughter to start shopping PETSMART, Petco, Foster & Smith, anyone but Ferret.Com. "

"I ordered 350 of merchandise, including a 300 dollar cage. First off, they double billed me. I emailed them twice and never got a response, so I called my bank to block the charge. Then it was shipped to the billing address, not the mailing address we put. Still we went to our previous address and the package was gone. They said the package was delivered so its out of their control. So I'd love to tell you how their merchandise is, but they took my 350 dollars and said 'too bad'"

"I ordered over $300 worth of items the shipping stated 7-14 business days. My first package arrived 3 days after order and my other package arrived 6 days after order. I have a few issues with them double billing me and had to deal with customer service. They were AMAZING, very patient and polite while dealing and resolving my issue. When the items did arrive they were all intact and very well packaged no damage at all. Their tracking for their shipping is wonderful and very straight forward. This website is everything I could hope for while online shopping! Highly recommended."

"My experience with ferret.com, has not been as charming as others. I ordered almost $400 in merchandise. My first shipment was 4 items on the packing list, I only received 3. What should have been sent to me was 1 ferretrail playground, 1 spotbrites laser toy and 2 tip'n'topple toys. I received the playground, the laser, and 1 tip'n'topple toy which was broken. I emailed them explaining the situation so they send me another toy but they charge me for it, and instead of canceling the order as I asked they shipped out the rest of the order, except for the cage because its on backorder. I still have not received the other items, but as soon as I get them I am Not opening the box. I'm sending everything back! "

"Great experience, instant and supercheap shipping, best prices found on the web (hence, anywhere), everything arrived in good condition and as pictured, will shop again and again.

Only complaints are not the best selection, and the package that they send your stuff in has "FERRET.COM" and "DOG.COM" etc written all over it in huge letters. I know it's pretty standard for companies to put their names on the boxes they send, but I'm not allowed to have pets in my apartment, and my package was sitting outside my door all day while I was gone. It's hard to explain to the landlord that you are buying things from ferret.com for yourself, not because you have ferrets.
