"Overall, the gun was a good deal at a great price. My FFL couldn't touch this deal. However, the sales ad depicted an ambidextrous safety on this 1911. The gun I received was missing this feature. I felt the value of the gun I received was diminished as having an ambi safety is what lefties want.

Almost certain this was an oversight by the seller not a picture purposefully posted to mislead buyers into thinking they were getting more value than they were. I feel this way because there were other discrepancies in the specifications such as barrel/over length, round capacity. We straightened those things out prior to the purchase.

As with most advertisements, there was a disclaimer absolving the seller from liability of any discrepancies between the description and the item sold. Here is where the seller stepped up and turned a somewhat dissatisfied buyer into a very satisfied buyer. I called them and made them aware of this discrepancy. The seller then offered to ship an ambi safety at no additional expense directly to me.
