"We are very frustrated with Fishinthesky.com. The picture of the dress we bought did not match the dress we received. In the picture on the website the dress looked entirely chiffon. However, it had a shiny satin waist band that I do not like and would not have ordered it if the picture was more accurate. But instead of owning up to their mistake, they have been draggin this on through many emails and exchanges including having to take pictures of the dress and submit them. They say they are about customer service but I have not gotten that impression. If they do not authorize a return in the next day or so, I will advise all potential buyers to beware for they will not be treated fairly if there is a problem with their ordered. I would love to post a positive result for this situation but as of yet have not been able to do so. Still waiting."

"This website is a SCAM do not buy from them. I read the reviews after I had already purchased my dress. When you email them it's usually 10 words or less with huge grammatical errors. The rush shipping is fake and claim they would refund me for that which they have not yet. I ordered my dress April 7th with a rush order to get it before April 28th they keep telling me 3 or 4 more days to ship it. The company is only open Mon-Friday.Do not buy from them, don't risk it they are in HONG KONG."

They are quick to take your money but in my case I never got the dress and when i enquire I only get one line emails with confusing excuses as to why the dress is not made or it is on its way. "This website is a total scam. I ordered a light pink dress with pink and purple gems and sequins that were elegantly arranged. When it came in the mail i opened up the bag to find a bubble gum pink fabric...getting a little nervous i opened up the rest of the dress to find it decorated with yelowish and orang beading...not only did the colors completely clash but the design of them looked like it was done by a second grader. the cheap beads all looked like they were going to fall off. Plus there was a few sewing flaws. When i tried to return this dress they kept emailing me back with things like no this dress is great! how about a discount on your next purchase? we put in our hard work for this! In the end i could not return it and am now out of $175. DONT ORDER FROM THEM!!"

I found a bridesmaid dress I really liked on their website. I sent my 10 bridesmaids the link to the dress I wanted them to purchase and each girl ordered the same exact dress in the color yellow. When the 8 out of 10 dresses arrived each girl received a different dress with a different shade of yellow. Each dress came with an invoice that says the dress was only $20.00 (Yes, they sure did look and feel like $20.00) We spent $160-190 per dress. The dresses were damaged and were dirty. They did not fit properly, some too big and some too small. Not one dress looked like the picture we saw on Fishinthesky.com. I right away had the two girls who did not receive their dress cancel their order, but Fishinthesky only gave them a 50% refund. After refusing to refund us they have now ignored all of my emails.

I want to warn women all over the world about Fishinthesky.com and any other websites affiliated with them. Fishinthesky will delete every bad review they receive on their website and Facebook wall. This is why we had know idea that this company was a scam. They delete all their negative comments and create fake accounts to leave "good" comments. We need to pass the word along, post on any website we can find and let women know that this company is NOT what they think. The company will not provide "HANDMADE HIGH QUALITY DESIGNER DRESSES."

After receiving the dresses we all started noticing the negative feedback from other unhappy customers. Fishinthesky will delete their comments and bad reviews, just like they did with our bad reviews.

Turns out we are not the only vitims here. Fishinthesky.com has done this to many women around the world.

How can we stop them?

Well, because this company is based in Hong Kong there is nothing we can do. The only thing we can do is let every single woman know what this company really does. We can spread the word and hope other women will listen. We can try as hard as we can to stop women from purchasing from their websites because if you are a victim of Fishinthesky.com you know once you hit the submit button you are locked in and will possibly never see your money again."

"I have filed a dispute with Paypal and my Credit Card Company. This outfit is a joke!!! There shipping dates mean NOTHING!! They kept emailing me to say that their dresses are tailored to order...we'll they better go back to sewing school!!! The dress FINALLY came in just yesterday and when I took it out of the package, I had a TRAIL of sequins through my house on the floor going upstairs!!! The strings for the sequins were hanging, they put NO HOOK at the top zipper to hold close to zipper up. Where they get off that they are PROFESSIONAL TAILORS is beyond me!!! "Do NOT purchase from fishinthesky. I ordered a gown for my military ball several weeks ago. I paid $45 extra to guarantee delivery by March 22nd (2 days from now). I emailed them today to check status as it has not been updated on my order. You can only communicate with them via email. They told me my dress will not be ready for shipment for another 8-10 days. Then it it will take another 4-5 days for shipping. My ball is on the 30th so the dress will not arrive in time. Now I am fighting with them for a refund. They are only offering a partial refund of 50%. "

"I purchased a Prom dress recently. I ordered a standard size 8, after having been measured by a professional tailor. When it arrived the waist was 6 inches bigger than a size 8 and the bust was 3 inches bigger. I contacted their customer service department..they said they made what I asked which is not true. They have refused to refund my money, they keep offering me coupons on my next purchase.

I took the dress to two different tailors and they both have said it can't be fixed. It has ruching across the front and a side zipper plus stays... all of that can't be removed and adjusted enough to bring the waist in 6 inches.

The company is very hard to deal with.. .communication skills lacking... plus the time change makes responses slow.

I would not suggest that anyone buy from them.

We are now left with a dress that we can't wear. I hope this scares away anyone interested in buying. "
