It's a month now since I ordered, there's been no updates, tracking shows that the book has not yet apparently even arrived at their warehouse. WTH? something is in stock or it's not. Big lie, nothing can be returned if I didn’t revive anything. And they also HAVEN’T refunded me any money.
I was patient during Covid lockdown times, but it’s now been a year and a half and the only contact I could recently find with them is “Catherine” on the unrelated Trustpilot website, she is unhelpful and gives automated generic responses.
There is an admin at fishpond email address which gives you an automated “this email address is no longer active” email when you email them… however I got a reply saying “we don’t usually check this email address but luckily I saw your email. We have now processed a refund”
…Over a week later and that’s another lie just like whoever typed “return processed” on my order a year ago.
DO NOT TRUST FISHPOND. I’m certain they have fake “positive” reviews as the NZ one on Trustpilot has a lot… but just look here. 1-star reviews and nothing else."
"I ordered a book three months ago - not an expense book, not a new book and not even a difficult to find book and yet it still hasn't arrived, but Fishpond have shirked all responsibility and now I will order it from Amazon who actually care whether or not the product arrives!
Fishpond is a classic example of an intermediary service that clicks the ticket on items provided by third party providers, allowing them to avoid responsibility and any semblance of customer service when things go wrong -'hey it is not us, our supplier is having issues'.
If you create a company making money selling other people's products, don't invite the consumer into your woes around lack of vendor vetting - take responsibility for the companies that fund you and focus on the customer, not excuses."

"Bought some books for my son’s birthday gift, couple days later got an Email from them said the books was shipped, gave me an ETA 28th - 30th June. After I waited until 30th June, nothing was deliver. I Emailed the seller try to get the status of the parcel, didn’t get a response. So I Email Fishpond’s customer service team since there was no phone number to call. Waited 24 hours for the reply said they will ask the seller regarding of my order. That took them another 24 hours to get back to me. They said the seller can not fulfill my order! Didn’t say why! Clearly when they said it was shipped it’s misleading to the customer. If the seller don’t have stock I totally understand. But why can not inform the customer earlier so I can find somewhere else to buy instead of waiting for nothing!
Definitely will not coming back to this website to purchase anything again! "

No offense to you personally but What an unbelievable crap show your company is. 3rd cancellation (1st one would be fine except for the complete lack of any notification about it), two of them under your supervision regarding the order and the breaking of all related promises to process the order. You have cost me hours of my time at this time at this point and have made me break multiple promises to my grandkid regarding their birthday present. You are really a company to be avoided at all costs. Sorry for it, but at this stage it really is simply a public service to let people know online
Again no offence personally, but the crappy and insincere rote apology is not at all accepted. Here is a tip, when offering a 4th or 5th apology for multiple failures also offer a solution or at least a freebie"

"bought a book that was -obviously- available for sale on their website. later it got cancelled because, as they justified later, it was "out of stock and wrongly posted" and that they will remove it from their page; but when i checked again that same book was still there the next week!! the only logical explanation is that they will cancel your orders AT THEIR WHIM if they find out that they have incurred a loss from fulfilling your order! do your business elsewhere, those mor*ns are totally irresponsible!! no wonder their sales and profits have declined in recent years...
