Gee, we're sorry, but . . .

"Mixed experience with FitBit.

Customer service tried their best but is sabotaged by the questionable quality of FitBit hardware and inventory management.

Briefly, I bought a FitBit tracker but due to health issues was not able to use it until after the seller's return period ended. When I tried to use it, it did not work correctly so I contacted FitBit. They walked me through diagnostics, determined it was faulty (not good for a brand new product) and sent me a replacement that worked correctly.

Within six months, like a lot of other people reporting in online forums, one side of the band disconnected, meaning the tracker cannot be used. I contacted FitBit again and they already cannot provide the correct replacement part DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD.

In short, I have to buy a $30 band because of a design flaw in the FitBit product AND their miscalculation regarding replacement inventory. When I replace/update my tracking, FitBit will be at the bottom of my list.
