"Bought a replacement 77209-47051 fuel hose after the plastic elbow fitting was damaged by a stick, a $30.11 part, for less than 2ft of reinforced hose with 2 plastic fittings. Shipping from Fitzgerald was slower than expected, but my gripe is more with Toyota Parts website referring customers to dealers which do not have the parts in stock ready-to-ship, that the e-commerce system does not provide inventory status or delivery estimates which are standard features of other online stores, and Toyota tolerating abusive behavior among their dealers.
Fitzgerald was the 24th dealer I checked for this part before ordering. For some of the other dealers their cart claimed a lower shipping price of $11 to $15 which jumped to $30 to $36 at check out. For some dealers their Google reviews mentioned customer abuse, or extremely slow parts shipping (weeks or over a month), or blatant fraud (in parts, service, and/or vehicle sales), but Fitzgerald's reviews were fine, most complaints had either a seemingly fair response or a weak argument. Some dealers had this part discounted as low as $20, 33% off, but some of those tacked on the largest shipping charges at check out, or had the worst reviews, overall I paid about $8 more to buy this from Fitzgerald than the lowest offer I found. I'm in central WV, of my in-state dealers, 2 are crooks, 2 tacked on huge shipping charges, the others weren't suggested by Toyota's parts site. That may sound unusual but I value honesty and am more fraud sensitive than most, when I bought my 2014 Prius from Advantage Toyota they committed fraud, they lied to me about interest terms (no interest if first bill is paid in full but it's not true, that's $140 extra), lied to me twice about resolving the excess interest charge, and lied about the tires being new which I didn't notice until they needed replaced after 20k miles instead of something like 40-50k miles.
Two days after I ordered this part I emailed Fitzgerald asking for a delivery estimate and received a prompt reply saying they expected to receive it from Toyota the next day and would ship it out later the same day, but it didn't ship until a day later, -1 star, which pushed transit into the weekend with delivery the following monday, 1 week. Overall 4 stars, good enough. I'll probably buy via Fitzgerald again if I have to source parts from Toyota again, but only after checking competitively priced sources, and don't need a local dealer for some reason.
The part worked as expected, took 20-25 minutes to install from getting my tools out to putting them away, barely 5min for the part itself. After their email reply indicated days longer than I had hoped I improvised a temporary elbow replacement with 3in clear vinyl tubing trimmed from a hand fuel pump and a couple pipe clamps, worked fine."
