"Absolutely excellent service from the guys at Flashrouters. I live in Australia so there was a distance issue right there! Tom from Flashrouters was patient and supportive when I had some initial trouble setting up the T-LINK router. I had to return the first product which was no fault of theirs.
Tom set up a new router at no charge and sent it to me. The whole episode was sorted quickly and efficiently and I couldn't be happier.

"Flashrouters installed ddrwt and my choice of VPN remotely on my existing router. They did a great job, and did exactly what I asked and expected. Once I'd gotten contact with Tom, he helped quickly, and there's nothing I can say than give him a 5 star. Thank you for your help and understanding. I think what frustrated me with the overall experience and why I can't give 5 stars overall is because there was very little explanation of how to contact the support people and if like me you want/expect fast customer service it may not happen. You have to open a ticket on a different site (clearly marked) and wait until they contact you again on that site through the ticket you opened up. I expected a telephone call or an email but as I was in hurry to get this done (wife nagging about no WiFi) this system seems too much like what you do if something goes belly up with a PC at work. The service is great, the sales people are on chat message all the time but just be aware that its ticket based and your time frame may not be the same as theirs. I do understand this but would like to see some sort of explanation on the blog to advise customers about it expected wait times and all contact is through the ticket system. Overall a 4 star but could easily be 5 if flashrouters tweaked the customer service end. Hope this helps but I definitely would recommend their service."

"Used Flashrouters.com's remote router configuration service. I had my own router and they did an install of DD-WRT over a remote session. This was for the Netgear R8000 where I could not find reports of a good stable build. There was a slight technical difficulty to set up the remote session but after that it was quick, easy, painless. "This is the second precoonfigured ASUS N66 flashrouter I've purchased. I use 2 different VPN's in my home. Tom recommended a particular provider as perhaps being able to meet my particular needs and that's what I bought. He was correct!

We had a few installation problems, but after a couple of "hiccups" as the Brit's say, an online Teamviewer session fixed it up nicely.

"I had done a tremendous amount of research over the last several months, trying to understand vpn routers, advantages, disadvantages, etc I finally decided that I wanted to go that route. So then the challenge of finding the best product, price and of course service both before and after the sale. I saw many routers on amazon, ebay, other retailers but saw several good reviews of flashrouters.com and checked them out. Fantastic pre sales communication, I asked about a million questions since I am a curious and cautious type. Extremely patient via chat, email and then phone as I wanted to understand all the options and possible combinations. No pressure at all. I opted for the R7000 router, paid for it and my new router was delivered in just a few short days. It came configured for my vpn provider and was literally plug and play. It worked flawlessly out of the box. And me being me, I had several questions and wanted to try and tweak and make changes. So I communicated with them and again, fantstic communication. The helped me change vpn providers, walked me through assigning static ips, taught me about policy based routing and how to force specific client devices to use the vpn and allow other to bypass.
I will never buy another low end router after seeing the awesome speed , power and flexibility of a higher end router flashed with new firmware (my firmware is DD-WRT). Great speed, and just super stable. The options and configurations possible are incredible. Yet it is easy and straight forward. Flashrouters provided a nice cheat sheet in writing with the router with some great setup tips and also how to configure the router for openvpn if I ever need to make changes. I am completely satisfied with my purchase and really thrilled about the support. These guys are on top of their game when it comes to network, settings and routers."

"I had been trying to get DD-WRT installed for a month. I finally succeeded, then found out that I had to install Tomato instead. I found flashrouters. They flashed Tomato, and configured VYPRVPN client in less than 1 hour.

Without flashrouters, I was about to give up. They did what they said, and had enough knowledge to make the changes quickly. For example, I asked if it was possible to have an alternate VPN address, within about 2 minutes, it was working.

For someone who has not flashed routers and who does not have lots of time to waste learning, I would highly recommend flashrouters.com.

"You get no support, its almost impossible to set up the router yourself , so you have to ship it back to them. I've seen other comments that others had Flashed Routers login to their router and set it up. I had no support like that. Lot's of emails back and forth tho' Also there is no phone number. "I just bought a router from these guys. The routers are excellent plug and play. After screwing the dog with my old asus trying to WW-DRT and got tired of it I bought a router from these guys as suggested by my vpn provider their support though sucks big time. Ticket is open but nothing after 24 hours. Let me add to my review after some support I ended up sending the router back for repair. It went through customs no problems they checked it and sent it back. Now my router is stuck at customs and Fedex (another rip off) doesn't want to let it go because numb nut flashrouter doesn't want to redo the custom papers. Very simple nowhere it says repaired under warranty then Fedex would release it no I will to pay customs and taxes on my OWN router because flashrouter don't want to redo the commercial invoice and fax it to Fedex how hard is this for that reason people stay away from this outfit was of money probably a backyard scamming outfit in my book.
