"DO NOT do business with Florist Express.....They FAILED to deliver next day as they advertise.....10/5/14 - I placed an order for delivery on 10/6/14.....10/6/14 - I receive an email at 10:30 am (they should have CALLED - not everyone has access to email throughout the day) saying the order could not be delivered. So, I call to see what is going on and I am told the order WILL be delivered. Then I receive another email at 3:45 pm saying the order will NOT be delivered. I call to confirm the information (hoping they are wrong) and find out that they will not be making the delivery.....HORRIBLE customer service and FALSE ADVERTISING.....STAY AWAY!"

"Despite all of the bad reviews I actually had a decent experience with Florist Express. I needed a gift basket delivered today (Monday) to a friend in the hospital, so I put in my order yesterday (Sunday). I chose the $4.99 expedited shipping and my order was delivered before 12PM today by a local florist. My only complaint/suggestion is that there should be better communication between the customer and the vendor. I had to call the 800 number to confirm that my order had been delivered. Either way I'm satisfied with the service that was provided. "
"Really disappointed! Ordered what I thought was a nice bouquet of flowers to be sent to my husband at his work for our anniversary. I paid extra for expedited service. The flowers were late but arrived in the same day (I purchased an order previously and they were a day late, but came the next day). My husband brought the flowers home and I was appauled! The arrangement was tiny! I paid almost $60 for something that almost fits in a coffee cup! Since the little container was clear, you could see some of the mangled stems. I picked the selection which lets the shop provide the arrangement figuring they are professionals with an artistic eye and this would allow them flexibility to provide a quality product in a timely manner with what they had in stock. A real florist can do a beautiful job with limited resources. Now I wonder about some of the other arrangments I've sent. I was sooooo embarrassed! I will never shop with them again!"
"Buyer beware.. They screwed up the order. I order flowers, chocolate and balloons for my wife. The flowers got to my wife, but the rest of the stuff didn't. I called the customer service and they refunded the money for the stuff they didn't send, but offered nothing else... just an apology and bye. Next time I will take my business elsewhere. If you are not satisfied with our service for any reason feel free to contact us. We will either refund your money or redeliver a new product depending on the situation. The choice is yours!" This is false and untrue. Sure they will give you a 15% discount coupon on your next order. When I told them I would never order from them again they offered me a 20% discount. All I wanted was the flowers I ordered to be delivered correctly and I guess they can't do that. I ordered an arrangement of roses, lilies and alstroemeria and got daisies, lilie buds and roses barely open. They blamed their supplier again and again. But NO REFUND or REDELIVERY. Where is that 100% guarantee?"

I have contacted them both by e-mail and phone for a substandard flower arrangement. They give a multitude of excuses to not refund my money. They give a $10 gift certificate which requires me to order from them again which would be ridiculous given my poor treatment.
Update: 10/7/2011 They have issued a 20% refund on the flowers. Better than nothing. But I learned the box of chocolates that was part of the same order seemed stale."
