"I recently inquired about a camera kit that FOTW were selling (£300 odd). The details on the page were incorrect, incomplete and not fully explained
(480 line DVR - isn't that for NTSC? I'm sure the lines are 576 when using PAL. Camera supplied gives 700 lines - why when the DVR only captures 480 lines??
Spec states max 2Gb SD card - surely a mistake??)
I emailed the sales dept via the website. I received a prompt reply from a chap called David, however the response was waffle and did not answer the question.
In short I am not sure the employees of this company have knowledge about the products they are selling. And the site requires more effort.
Have gone somewhere else and purchased similar products, but separately - at least I know what I'm getting :)
Further to this I managed to find the 960H version of the cameras in this kit, a FOUR channel version of the DVR AND 2 x 64Gb cards for just £170.00 :)"
"I have used this company many times previously and been very happy with the cost, delivery time etc however on a recent occasion I ordered a CCTV camera kit and 2 additional cameras (A total of £444.97) I received the item a few days later and was pleased. Until I received the credit card bill and realised we had been charged 7 times for the one item. I have called the company and no-one has answered, I have emailed the gentleman I had previously conversed with and had no response and finally my credit card company have also tried to contact them with no luck!
I am disgusted with this - I am £2669.82 out of pocket and am yet to receive any kind of response!"

"I have you used Flyonthewall on two occasions and they have been excellent. On this latest occasion there was a problem with the glasses but they were really helpful in their emails to me. Eventually they agreed to change the glasses, they couriered a new pair to me and pick up the old pair and refunded the differences. Great gear and really helpful people"

"If you deal with this company you are taking a risk.
I bought an IR wildlfe camera with motion sensor from them. The unit would not detect motion unless it was very vigorous - was hopeless for wildlife. I could not fill in the returns section on the internet (would not list order) and it took a long time for them to respond to emails - they don't answer their phone either. Having eventually replied with a few suggestions (none of which worked), I returned the item fora refund.
Instead of which they sent a replacement which actually worked worse - would hardly trigger at all. I returned this asking for a refund, which they eventually gave but minus a 'stocking fee' of £34. When I demanded this sum, they made up a story that I had damaged both cameras by inserting the battery wrongly. When I challenged them that they would have told me this on replacing the first one if it had been the case, they changed their story thay I had set the delay time wrongly - something which I refute.
Bottom line is, they are very slow to respond and dishonest. I have wasted a lot of time, postage and £34 by dealing with this company. It is also worrying that they would restock a faulty item (if that is what they did). "
"I ordered a security camera from flyonthewall.uk.com a couple of months ago and was impressed with speed of service, the quality of the camera and the value for money.
The camera came within 24hrs of ordering! I was surprised at how a high a specification camera I could get for the money. It has loads of storage capacity, high resolution video capture and motion sensing technology so only records when movement is detected.
Overall I am very impressed and give Flyonthewall 5 stars!"
