"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a Nikon SLR Camera on 12/5/08 for $ 264.83; before it was delivered I realize I meant to order a Digital SLR Camera
DigitalFoto gave me an RMA # 13360011 and I was able to refuse the package from UPS. (Keep in mind, I never touched the package). On 12/18/08 $ 215.87 was returned to my bank account.
$48.96 was charged to me for shipping including a 10% re-stocking fee. I was ok with the shipping cost, but the re-stocking fee is ridiculous.
The exchange policy is not easy to find, it’s listed at the bottom of the website. Furthermore the exchange policy isn’t disclosed to a customer at the time of checkout.
I now check the re-seller review on a site before I order anything. I haven’t ordered from a least 20+ online websites because of bad reviews.

"Ordered a QuikPod on 12-3 from this company as a marketplace vendor of Buy.com. Item showed in stock, with 1-2 day order turnaround. Email on 12-9 that item was not in stock. One week for notification this time of year is absolutely unacceptable."
"My credit card info was abused
I ordered an item on-line on 17 Nov 2008 for $58 from Discount Foto Discount Club, and eventually received the item. But when I received my credit card monthly statement on 28 Nov, I saw that on 19 and 21 Nov my credit card had twice been charged $99.99 as false claims from Ccbill.com, a company which services payment of on-line subscriptions. I contacted the Ccbill.com and was informed the two charges had used my correct charge card data, including the three-digit security code on the reverse.
The good news is that Ccbill.data had quickly determined that the transactions were fraudulent, and had refunded the total amount to my card, a fact confirmed by a telephone call to my credit card company. I had to cancel that card to avoid further false charges.
Reviewing my recent use of that credit card, I concluded that my recent credit card purchase from Digital Foto must have been the origin of this attempt to steal $198 from me. All other recent charges in my credit card history were repeat orders from reliable local vendors known to me. The order from Digital Foto stood out glaringly as the likely culprit. This impression became even more clear when I went back to the Digital Foto web site and found the company is located in Brooklyn, New York City, the home of many other companies described by ResellerRatings contributors as deceptive if not downright criminal. "Great customer service! I bought an item and was not happy with it. I was issued an RMA immediately. No questions asked. I returned it and was given credit in a very timely manner. Great guys to do business with.

"I ordered a Sony KDL-52V4100 from Focus on Friday and it was delivered on Monday. I got a great price with no pressure or upselling, and I promptly received a a factory-sealed box in excellent condition. I recommend Focus highly."
"Absolutely UNSATISFIED with their service...as far as I never was given any service! I called them to check the shipment expenses to Spain, and after a few tries I was finally transferred to talk to an agent called "Eli" ( ****@**** ) who gave asked me to send all my personal data (including my credit card and ID scan) by email (I blurred the last 4 digits and after called to unveil them by voice). It took me more than 30mins. to scan everything and prepare the mail...after that I haven't ever had a minimum response of any type! I called again to confirm that he had received my mail and he confirmed that everything was ok!...after a week without any news I sent them a message to cancel my order. This message hasn't been answered either...absolute lack of customer service...not even for gaining new sales! AMAZING!"
"This was my 1st order from digitalfotoclub.com. I didn't know what to expect. I ordered 5 Epson Storyteller Kits on Sept. 8 because it was a very good buy, and received a confirmation the same day. On September 17, 9 days later, I had heard nothing and emailed to find out my tracking number. I promptly received an email telling me that it was on back order and would be shipped as soon as they received it from their warehouse. It had already been shipped, but they didn't realize it yet. I was offered the opportunity to cancel my order if I wanted. I decided to wait a while. Today, Sept. 18, one day later, I received my Storyteller kits. Was I ever surprised!!! They were shipped from Waukegan, IL on 9-17 UPS ground, and I received them 9-18. Great for both companies. Yes, I will order from Digital Foto Club again."
"Digital Foto was fantastic - best price, delivered immediately, absolutely no problems or misrepresentations. A mistake regarding shipping charge was immediately refunded after a few minute phone call, no questions asked. This is an honest company that I am happy to reccomend to anyone."
"I placed an order for a Gitzo tripod from DFDC on July 6, 2008 Sunday, after midnight. I was very happy to receive an e-mail Monday afternoon stating that my order had shipped. (I think too few merchants realize the importance of quickly fulfilling orders.) I did receive my order on the date promised and the item was very nicely packaged (thank you!). I have spent a good deal of money with DFDC over the past few years and have never had a problem - BUT, I've never required customer service, I was always shipped (and quickly), exactly what I ordered. I'm sorry to read stories where others have encountered terrible customer service because I think DFDC has the potential to be a top-tier merchant due to their low prices and fast (often free) shipping."
"My credit card was charged the day I ordered. Item shipped 11 days later. Price was okay but will order elsewhere next time."
"HORRIBLE! All i have to say about this company is horrible. They jerk you around and won't let you speak to someone who can actually help you. I was yelled at and hung up on three times. Digital Foto Discount Club advertises fake prices to get you one their website. i placed an order for an item, a projection screen, for $400 dollars with free shipping. Then four days later i get a phone calling saying they won't ship the order unless they get $90 more dollars. When i asked why my order went though and why i recieved a conformation email and why my account was charged i was insulted by a representative named ken who said that they do not offer free shipping and if i could show him where it said that then he would honor it. I showed him the page and then the story changed again and i was told that was a mistake. when i asked what the company was going to do to make this right i was told by ken that he didn't have time for this and then proptly hung up on. After calling back and asking to speak to someone in charge i was told "no they don't want to talk to you" and then hung up on again. In no way was i rude to this person at all, he seems to have a very bad temper. Eventually i was offered to pay "just" $50 more than i already paid, which they claimed was at cost to them. After looking at other websites that carry the same item i found it at the same price that DFDC claims is at cost. So this brings me to the question do these other companies not make any money on the screens they sell? The answer is no they make money on them so it is obvious that DFDC is lieing once again about giving me a product at cost for my inconvenience. This company has no customer support besides one angry man so if you prefer to speak with a normal human being i would order from another company. I would reccomend ordering from thefinalclick.com instead of DFDC. I cannot stress enough how rude this company is and how i will never ever shop there again. I wouldnt be surprised if charges of false advertising and fraud were brought against them."
"I ordered a Bogen/Manfrotto 322rc2 action ball head, and a 190xb tripod from them on Monday night. Paid for 2 day shipping and it it was shipped out on Tuesday and got it today, 5/15/08. Very happy with transaction. No up sells, no phone calls of out of stock, nothing. I was kinda hesitant, but I am glad I went through with it. I only hope the rebate trough the manufacture will be honored."
"My first inexpensive purchase was totally uneventful. I easily found the item I wanted at a price that seemed reasonable...with free shipping. The Olympus camera case was carefully packaged, and sent out the door immediately. I have to say that I am pleasantly surprised by the performance of this online vendor."
"I ordered a new 67mm graduated ND Tiffen filter from focuscamera on ebay. A month later I received a filter in a cracked case, unsealed, with dust covering the filter, use marks on the rim of the filter, and a worn booklet. I wrote back to them complaining but they ignored the issue."
"From East Norwalk,CT - ordered a Panasonic wrist blood pressure monitor ew-3037s from them. I do not know them at all. They sell camera equipments. And they are in Brooklyn. At first I didn't have a good feeling about them, but within five seconds, it changed since they have this BBB seal on their home page. I went ahead placing the order without hesitation, and without checking this site. Placed the order yesterday for a 2nd day air, and it arrived next day.
This bp monitor is difficult to get, and I am happy they trully have it in stock. Would buy from them again..."
