"I was looking for a custom case with removable clip since I'm currently on my 3rd Blackberry OEM case (clip can break off if the case catches on chair, seatbelt, etc). While there are a lot of (and mostly old) online reviews for Fortte's products, there were none for my phone (Blackberry Bold). A couple of reviewers complained about loose stitching, so I was a little wary of what I might get.
Cases are made in Bolivia, shipped out of Florida. You can custom order colors and different types of belt attachments. If it is a custom order they warn you it can take 2 - 4 weeks since they practice just-in-time fabrication for anything but standard cases (solid black, solid brown) and that is what mine took (ordered 8/30, arrived 9/23).
Colors, leather grade and stitching looked excellent. Nitpicks are heavy duty clip design slides on belt, magnetic snap loop seems a hair short and no trackball groove in opposite side case padding.
I depend on ResellerRatings for any "new" stores so I can read what end users have to say (vs. web reviewers who say something like "thanks to company XXXXXX for sending us their product to reivew" - you probably get my drift). While you may have to wait if you custom order, if they have what you want I can recommend Fortte."
