"I ordered a Nikkor F to Fuji X mount adapter but was sent the Nikon G to Fuji X adapter instead. When I informed Fotodiox of this error I was told that it was an "upgrade". I pointed out that while the Nikkor F lenses would without doubt fit on the Nikon G adapter, the two lens systems did not function in the same manner and that I wanted the product I had ordered, not their "upgrade". After much exchange of emails they finally accepted the return - at my expense - and reimbursed me the cost of the adapter only. I was therefore left empty handed after having paid for freight both ways - roughly equivalent to the cost of the adaptor. While the quality of the Fotodiox product appears to be ok, because of their poor business practices - I believe I should have been informed prior to having been sent the "upgrade" - and apparent low esteem of their clientele, I will be purchasing an adaptor from another manufacturer."
"Military APO AP Friendly, that is A+ in my book! Took some time to get the cap to me, but that is not their fault. I'd buy from them again as long as it's not an expensive item. I'd trust a more reliable larger store / vendor for those purchases. I don't feel comfortable giving thousands of dollars to a small web store with questionable ratings. Oh and Reseller Ratings rocks !"
"They use the old trick of selling items they don't really have in stock only to conveniently tell you it will take 2 weeks to get your business. "
"I bought 2 fotodiox light fixtures, a 16 bulb unit and a 9 bulb unit. First out of the box, the electrical contacts did not contact the light bulbs, so I had to bend them so they would. Second, the part that connected to the light stands slightly undersized so it would not fit on a standart 5/8 stand.
I used them occasionally over the last 2 years, and the female receptacle that accepts the power cord shorted and now I can't use the 9 bulb unit. I have to find another one, built better to withstand the weight of the hanging cord, which isn't much weight."
"I bought a Nikon to Canon EOS lens converter. I did a little bit of research and heard that fotodiox offered a good blend of quality and price. I searched on eBay and discovered Fotodiox has a quite large eBay store with 99.8% positive feedback. I am quite surprised to see that nobody has really reviewed them on this site...
My order was shipped quickly with no problems. The adapter I bought seems quite solid and fits my vintage Nikon lens very well. I am a little worried about the small spring that clicks it in place if I need to keep removing the adapter, but hey, I paid $21 and now I get to use a vintage Nikon as opposed to paying hundreds for a new canon 50mm 1.4.
Overall very good experience. Highly recommend this adapter for anyone else trying to put Nikon on Canon (no extra glass needed)."
"Fotodiox has always giving me excellent service. For me they ship on the next day.
The merchandise is of good quality and at a fair price."
"I meant to write a review months ago. I have bought several items from them both directly and thru eBay. I am totally pleased. Good price, fast shipment, and quality products. Customer support/service is also excellent. Great communication. I highly recommend them."
"Order never arrived until two months later after I contacted Visa. Had to buy local for the trip due to non-receipt of the order. After 2 months they tried to keep the money by sending the package though I told them not to since I bought locally. Had to refuse the package.
Never again."
