"I found Fox Run tools by accident while looking for an OTC Master Fuel Pressure Tester set. The description on their website was initially incorrect, however, the lady I spoke with rectified it immediately and researched another product I was interested in. Within 45 minutes, she contacted me with the information I was looking for. To say the least, I was impressed and placed my order. Fox Run Tools uses an email notification system to alert you of the status of your order. Most orders that are in stock ship the same day with a tracking number. I am an extremely satisfied customer, as this business has kept its promises and provides excellent service that removes doubt from the equation of ordering online. This is not a paid review. As a mechanic, I have learned to search beyond the Snap-On truck for the tools that my livelihood depends on. "I have placed several orders from Fox Run Tools. Each had been filled correctly and shipped on time without any fanfare or other problems. However I had a recent experience that allowed me to find out about the quality of their customer service.
On 9-23-2009 I placed an online order for a set of Roloc 3 inch sanding discs for 1 pack of 36 and 1 pack of 80 along with the 3 inch mandrel to fit my die grinder. However when I received the order it contained 2 of the mandrels and the 36 grit disc only. But I didn't check my order as soon as it arrived to find the mistake.It was 3 days later.
I sent them an email on 9-27-2009(Sunday)to inform them of the packing error. I didn't expect to get a response until sometime Monday while I was at work. Very promptly around 6:15 a.m. the following Monday I received a nice email to the effect "We have researched your order and found the error. It was our mistake. Do not ship back the other item we inadvertently shipped. We have generated an order with the correct item you were missing and will ship today. We apologize."
I was really blown away by their level of customer service. George the owner of Fox Run Tools was the person who responded to my email. It is rare to find an internet company who excels in this type of service.
Needless to say I will continue to business with this company. They have great prices, fast shipping and a huge inventory backed by people who understand what it is to business sight unseen. What more could you ask for??
