after a week or two new old glasses arrived and everything perfect and done correctly and as inexpensively as I could find

"STAY AWAY FROM FRAMES RX! I ordered a frame without lenses and was charged immediately but the frame never shipped and I was not notified of any delay. I finally called (a month later since I had been out of town) and was told that they wouldn't be able to get my frame. I asked what their policy was for notifying customers of delays or inability to get product and was told by "Taylor" that "Gee we are real sorry. Sometimes files get lost in other files. Your refund should take about...umm...three business days." I asked why I was not notified of a problem, that they were backordered, or that they couldn't get the product. "I placed an order for frames only, not even lenses. My credit card was charged right away for the transaction, and an email was sent stating I would be notified when my item shipped. It has now been 7 weeks and I have yet to receive an email with my shipping confirmation. I have sent 6 emails to the company, all of which have been ignored, and the two phone numbers on the site state that the mailbox (states a person's name, not even the company name) is full and cannot accept new messages. I have been trying to get ANYTHING from this company for the past 7 weeks and no success. I have contacted my VISA company stating I was fraudulently charged. I hope I can get my money back. Do not buy from this company. I would've settled for a simple reply of "We're looking into it" but to be completely ignored is unacceptable. Highly, highly recommend to stay away from framesrx."
"Ordered O2 Optix contact lenses on 4-26-10, received confirmation on 4-27-10, but item has not shipped as of 5-05-10. Phone calls to ***-***-**** goes to a full mailbox and emails to ****@**** go unanswered. I have ordered from the site many times and have never had this trouble. Wonder what's going on? "I ordered Flexon 600C sunglasses and received an acknowledgement in 4/10/2010. The sunglasses have not arrived, two phone calls said the mail box was full and gave a man's name instead of a company name, and an email inquiry has not been acknowledged."
"I landed at this site because the had my old frame and I wanted to keep them for my new prescription. I received them in less than two weeks, comparable to local brick and morter retail locally. I paid $10 for UPS shipping, but would opt for free USPS shipping next time. Price was $60 less then my glasses cost 3 years ago and $200 less than Sam's Club for comparable frame, which I ordered and canceled as they were charging $90 per lens.
I was happy in the inclusion of a hard case embellished with my frame maker, Richard Taylor. My old glasses I was replacing were delivered with crappy generic soft case.
Fit and placement of lenses were perfect. I'm impressed that an internet company could produce my glasses for less, without any "fitting", that were perfect. I did not upgrade lenses, and I'm happy with results. I'll be a return shopper! "
"I was having trouble finding the frames I was interested in. Initially I ordered them (with lenses) through another website, but was told a day later that they were sold out of the color I wanted. That order was cancelled and I searched for the next best deal on the frames and lenses I wanted: Ralph Lauren RL 6002 in light tortoise color with plastic anti-glare lenses. FramesRX fit the bill, so I placed my order.
After a full week I had not heard anything from them other than the initial confirmation and I got nervous. After placing a call to their somewhat bogus 800 number, and sending 2 emails asking for information, I sent one more email threatening to dispute the charge on my card if I heard nothing. However, I did receive a response to this inquiry saying that my frames were on their way from Italy, which made me feel much better. I then received further update emails when the lenses were being put in and when the glasses were shipped. I was not terribly pleased with customer service, but 15 days later, I have the frames and lenses I wanted a price that I like. I might try other retailers again before FramesRX, but I do believe I would use them again."

No limitation regarding technical feasibility of fitting the prescriptive lenses in that frame is mentioned on that website until present day!
I was informed that they are not able to fit my lenses in that frame - quote: "none of the Nike suns are really suitable for your prescription". After I asked what other frames could be used to fit my lenses into, I was informed that quote: "The converse and Puma frames should hold an RX", therefore I decided to take Puma Rush 15045 instead:

Upon receiving a package and opening the box I've noticed that the quality of fitting the lenses and the lenses themselves is very, very poor. One can clearly see the gaps between the edges of lenses and frames. Especially the left lens - it's literally falling out from the frame, because it's almost completely projecting from it with its whole profile. Any sudden move of my head with the sunglasses on, causes the right lens to fall out and it's supposed to be sport design! In other words - the product has been defectively manufactured and it can't be used for practical and esthetic reasons.
I expected the FramesRX.Com company to take their defective product back from me and pay my money back. Unfortunately, despite of the placing official complaint with BBB - the company provided absolutely no feedback regarding my case. They've totally ignored me!

"I needed to replace my current eyeglasses frame due to damage. In order to reuse my existing lenses, I needed the exact same frame. So after checking their website I decided to call and see if they had the particular frame in stock. After a brief conversation, I was told that I would be called back after they made a call to the manufactuer. I received a call back in less than 5 minutes and was told that they can have the frames in one day and that I can expect to receive them in 2-3 days. I placed the order and received an email confirming the order. The following day, I recived another email stating that my order has shipped and its appropriate tracking number. I had my new frames in 3 days after placing the order. Overall, it was a great shopping experience. Customer service was extremely courteous. Highly recommend. "
