"Franklin Goose is a terrible company. They scammed hundreds of people including me with a fake promotional deal, asking customers to spend hours writing reviews on products they had used in exchange for store credit. Franklin Goose encouraged customers to leave reviews for weeks before turning back, deleting all accounts and telling everyone that they would not be allowed to use the store credit that they had earned. Many customers had not only their store credit deleted and stolen, but lost their own money when they had used store credit in addition to their own cash to buy goods. Franklin Goose lies, steals and defrauds its customers. Stay far away from this company!"

"This company scammed a huge number of people out of their time in order to spread the word about their name. They held us captive for 6-12 months, depending on the situation, and then pretty much just told us our efforts were more than they wanted to deal with, and the promo was cancelled. They either need to come through with what they promised or figure out a way to magically give me my hours back... Can't say I've heard ANYTHING positive about their customer service or shipping record...

Here is an email transcipt between Franklin Goose and myself, including their promise to ship my order. Since these emails, they have closed my account. I know for certain I will never be receiving my orders.
I placed an order on 7/26/10, order #20059. This order was paid for by store credit earned from the company by writing reviews on their website and a small amount of paypal. Most of the items were instock and ready to ship with the exception of 2 diapers that had a 2-3 week processing time I emailed the company regarding this order on 9/16:"Hi, I was just wanting to check on this status of this order from 7/26. Are the wraps or the fuzzibunz I ordered instock? If the wraps are not instock, could you tell me what Didymos wraps you do have instock? Thanks for your time!Elizabeth J" They responded on 9/26: "Hi Elizabeth, I am so sorry for the delay with your order. I know that we had to cancel several of your orders because of the bumgenius diapers, so I will email the shipping department to get your order out. Best,Jennifer Causby" After no shipping notice I emailed again on 10/7:"Hi Jen! I was just checking in on the status of this order. I do not care about the colors of the diapers if that is the hold up. As for the wraps, if the wraps I ordered are not available, any other Didymos wraps in size 6 or 7 would be fine to substitute. Thanks for your time! Elizabeth J" On 10/11 I received this blanket reply:"Hi Elizabeth, Thank you for your email. Due to the high volume of orders we have continued to receive from the promotion we are still backlogged in our order processing for store credit orders. We are working hard to fulfill the orders from the promotion in the order they were received, unfortunately at this time we are not able to give time frames for when your order will ship. We will ship your order as soon as we are able to. Best,Jennifer I sent one final reply on 10/11 which has yet to be answered: "So I am guessing that this email from 9-26, quoted from below is no longer applicable? Either way, thanks for your time. I just can not wait to use the wraps and diapers. :) Hopefully it will be sooner rather than later. Elizabeth J"

"I placed an order on 3/31 using store credits earned through a promotion Franklin Goose was running. Thank heavens I chose not to supplement my order with my credit card! I finally received some items from this company after leaving a long and detailed unhappy review on their facebook page. This section has now been removed and although they said it would be reinstated, this is clearly not going to happen as it has been over a month.
It is now nearly July and I still have not received all the items in my order. Meanwhile I have spoken with others who ordered the same items, after me, with store credits, who received them ages ago.
I have not bothered repeated emails or phone calls as I do not feel I should have to hunt down customer service. I emailed and received only a form response stating they were busy and not to ask about order status. Although I was previously undecided, I will now definitely not be ordering from this company again. I mean honestly, 3 months!
I recommend shopping elsewhere."
"On April 6th I placed an order with Franklin Goose using store credit for toys for my youngest daughter's birthday on May 30th. It has been nearly 2 months since I placed this order and I have not received any of the products, and Franklin Goose does not know when they will ship the items. They claim the items are backordered through the company (Franklin Goose sells items they do not have in hand, even though their website will tell you that it is instock), but I spoke with the manufacturer and the items are not out of stock on their end. They said the order was never placed with Franklin Goose.
Customer service has been spotty. They only release updates to their FB page, and not through e-mails. Attempts to contact the company through e-mail has been slow. You have to know someone in the company personally to get a response. Some of the customer service people are friendly, and some are very combative.
I cannot recommend this company. Orders placed after the April 6th order were partially received (these were both with store credit and my credit card), but not fully, and again, with no estimates when the orders will ship. They also charge your credit card immediately after the order is placed, and not when the items ship.
Update as of May 25: I have been told by Franklin Goose that my toys have not been received in their last shipment, and they have no idea when they may get them in to ship. They implied it may still be weeks or months. Other toys that I have been waiting on for over a month have just been sitting in their warehouse, but no one bothered to ship them to me. This company is a joke. "
"Two months of waiting and I have not gotten the majority of my order. Franklin Goose will not return emails or phone calls. Their customer service is truly abysmal. The only response I have ever gotten from them is an email telling me they were too busy to answer emails.
Oh and buyer beware they removed the review section of the facebook page after LOTS of negative reviews were posted. Extremely dishonest behavior!"
